Honestly, I wanted a movie about one of these monumental offscreened events, like Rock Port, Battle of Punk Hazard , ...God Valley??? Nah doubt that lol
Ima be honest, Film Red was kinda MID compared to all the other big OP movies(SW, F:Z, F:Gold, Stampede). The music and added lore was Great but everything else was Eh. Her working on a movie might be the single BEST thing Toei could do for One Piece. Higher than hiring Chansard, which that in itself was an already a spectacular move.
I would LOVE for the next project to be the next movie and the movie to be the adaptation of the God Valley Incident but I don't think the timelines will match up. I don't think the God Valley Incident will be in the manga by the time the next movie comes out.
If she directs a film I would actually go to the theater instead of streaming it

Is it not a waste to put the one Director that produces movie level quality on a movie project? No one can do what she does with weekly episodes.

I agree I do like Fim better than Gold but it's still wild to me that the movie made more money than other movies it's not even close 😂😂
Yeah but I do prefer her in a "canon thing" like episodies, not like movies but if she wants that, all good 😁
