First timer to your channel. Liking what you're doing and good info. On that note I'll chip in with my experience of a modded Skyrim. I have had a number of experimental mod lists and using my 6800-XT on 1440p 165hz 32" monitor with max graphic settings has averaged, ironically, 144 fps. Lowest fps on a high intensity mod list was 57 fps, but normally no lower than 85 fps. Currently I have around 1200 mods including expanded city overhauls, ENB and a reshade (Silent Horizons) and it's smooth gameplay. Probably the 16GB of VRAM is helping.

Hi Pred, I have a bit of a silly question. When adding new mods to the list, like you do at the end of the video, how can you be certain you have all the patches you need? Say for instance I want to use a specific mod, so I make sure to check the mod's page for patches and I even search on the nexus for patches on a seperate mod page. In the end let's say I find 10 possible patches. If there is 10 possible patches I've found then I would have to check the 1300 mods in the mod list, 10 times. That is a lot of reading. Is there any way to speed up this process? Is there a search feature in MO2 or something like that?
this is so confusing i dont get it i put wabba jack in my drive and then a modlist then it says i cant so i put it in docs then it says i cant so i put it back then put wabba jack into program files and then it cant start why dont they make this stupid mod list launcher easier to use i dont get it, its basically immposible to even do this?
You literally did both things he said NOT to do: DON'T put Wabbjack in a drive folder, and don't put it in Programs. Make a simple folder in C:/ called "Wabbajack". It's so simple, pay attention to the video.
random question - i have a AMD 6600xt and i9-10900k cpu and 32GB ram - im GUESSING this should work? - but also can i use the living skyrim IV modlist along with this one? some people say you can use more then one list and some say you cant - i used to use about 200 mods but its been well over 2 years since i last played (so it will be a new game anyway) - just i never used wabberjack or lists before -- PS can i install the mod downloads to my C: drive even if the game is on a separate SSD (and it save the mods on there like how vortex does it) or does everything need to download to the same drive as i 100% wont have the space otherwise as my game drive has only 260GB space left - as not sure how it works and been reading up for hours i cant find info about locations
Anyone else not seeing some Creation Club stuff? For instance, I haven't gotten the quest for Bloodchill Manor, also wen to the location of it and I don't even see the entrance.
So I installed the mad god overhaul 2.0 you talked about in your other video, how can this one complement the MGO? New to this took me so long to make it work I don't wanna delete everything and start over with another modlist
Hi, I've been watching your skyrim videos for years and was dreaming of having my skyrim that modded, now I have Lenovo LOQ laptop, the specs are: I7 13th , RTX 4050, RAM 16, and 1tb SSD. I have installed this modlist and it runs fine without bugs but I have too low fps like 20 for most of the time, can you tell me if there is any way to fix this?
I installed this but I like Skyrim Unbound because you get a nice test room right at the start, so I unchecked Optiona Quick start and loaded Skyrim Unnound just after it
Hello Predcaliber, I'd like to ask something, since I was about to follow your old graphics overhaul guide but in your nexus page you specifically recommend not to follow it anymore. I have a Ryzen 7 3800X GPU and a GTX 1080 Ti GPU with no SSD available for the installation of the mods, should I still follow this tutorial instead of the 2023 one? I have a QHD monitor just like yours and I'd like to keep a decent amount of FPS (>40 would be acceptable).
@@d_edo I think the old one works still, but you have to be really careful downgrading your Skyrim to the correct version with the downgrader tool :) 1080ti is kinda getting outdated for these new fancy 4K textures
@@PredCaliber I remember that in the old days when I first found your guides you could choose between 2K and 4K textures, is it still the case with this new guide or not?
@@d_edo I believe it’s this one th-cam.com/video/6o7RMEtbXHw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=21fgWJa4l__3NwO- on the nexus page the ‘12 years of Skyrim’ file should be right one. Just follow the steps in the description and there’s a user comment on how to downgrade the game to make it work. I had no issue downloading it the other day to play an old save. I get 45-60 fps on 1080 2600x setup at 1080p, i have not tried this new one with NGVO as it has much higher requirements and honestly the previous one still looks really good.
Enhanced blood and textures work perfectly fine with AE. Not sure if you need any more extreme gore mods? The blood splatter size can be set to pretty large already.
@@thedude761 Maximum carnage works for all versions. Deadly mutilation is an outdated mod. A new mod is coming soon called dismemberment framework which will make both redundant though.
Anyone wouldn't happen to know if there is something like this but for fallout 4? I have been troubleshooting and wiping re-downloading the fallout anomaly modlist just trying to see what can be altered to entirely 4k without causing conflict but have been running into several issues requiring complete redo so I was going to try and get a graphics overhaul and see if I can put anomaly intop of that but I'm still trying
Do I need to disable any of the existing grass/fauna mods? Have followed your steps with folkvangr and patches etc and now have grass textures covering roads. like even on the windy road up to whiterun. Sorry if this is a stupid question, very new to all this!
@@jaydiggy86 this way of modding the grass is really bad ... That's why you have issues. Any of the new added mods should not be after maps and northern roads. Basically install folkvangr, origins of the forest and a patch in grass separator. When you installed it look at the plugins on the right side and drag those 3 up where grass separator is for plugins. They should not be at the bottom... Also if you have parallax issues with landscape let me know and I'll help you out

18:00 If you do not have nexus mods premium: this modlist contains 1358 files, you have to click on "slow download" for every single one of those files. Making this entire concept a poorly thought out complete f*cking joke.
I have a Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Radeon 7800XT (16gb vram), 32GB Ram and I had to change the resolution from 1440p to 1080p, and I STILL have drops from 60fps to high 30s in certain areas when I look at certain things...
This pack is not good anymore. The clown who made this pack went and took it from a few hundred to 1330 mods. So, buy that premium if you want this pack anyway. Just got me a different one instead :)
NVGO is an eyesore for me. The first time I downloaded it and ran around in the game I felt like I was running through someone's manicured garden version of Skyrim. It didn't look like "wilderness" to me at all. Turned me right off, and it ended up being removed as fast as it was installed. I would NEVER use this as a base to work from for modding my game.
Basically all this is, is a video explaining how to install Biggies mod list, then adding a few mods. Seems low effort? Love ya pred, your old videos are what got me into modding this game. But I expected more honestly
This is a disappointing comment. He has mentioned that life has 'changed' for him lately. You never know what someone is dealing with in their personal life, and to hear someone say they "expected more" can be kind of devastating depending on what they're going through and how vulnerable they are. Sometimes it's just better to keep things to yourself.
@mattwilson9293 Okay? Doesn't mean I can't express my dissatisfaction. Everyone is dealing with something, and I can sympathize with that. If other people love the video great, I'm just calling it how I see it. You also didn't have to waste your time to comment on this, but you did. So don't call me out when I didn't even do anything wrong besides offer my opinion
@@ajfgaming7387 Just because 'everyone is dealing with something' doesn't justify your comment. I called you out because you deserved it. Do better, that's all.
Since when did Skyrim modding became a competition?? People make better and more complete Wabbajacks than mine, and that can be used as a foundation. No need to re-invent the wheel . 🤷 if it makes you happy, download MO2 and then download all of these 1300 mods individually. Times have changed. Things have became more efficient, Wabbajacks have become more efficient and stable. And After 10 years I don’t feel the urge to spend months again to reinvent the wheel for something that has already been made.
@PredCaliber Are we all seriously gonna waste our time arguing over this? If I expected different, then that's the end of it. If I didn't like it or found it disappointing, that's the end. I never asked to argue with anyone over something not even worth arguing over. Like, no shit times have changed, shit changes every day. I just expected something else, like that's it lmao
an interesting game and not boring..., especially if you can modify it..., SKYRIM is the best game I have played so far...(in my opinion)..., greetings to all SKYRIM game lovers from INDONESIAN..., and always success for @PredCaliber

I give up, nothing works.
would like to see a skyrim Ultimate Graphics Tutorial like your's from 2018 without the use of wabbajack kkep up the great work
this is so confusing i dont get it i put wabba jack in my drive and then a modlist then it says i cant so i put it in docs then it says i cant so i put it back then put wabba jack into program files and then it cant start why dont they make this stupid mod list launcher easier to use i dont get it, its basically immposible to even do this?
You literally did both things he said NOT to do: DON'T put Wabbjack in a drive folder, and don't put it in Programs. Make a simple folder in C:/ called "Wabbajack". It's so simple, pay attention to the video.
@@travisolander4749 still did and and waited 3 hours for a mod pack to download then it gives me an error
Thank you!❤
Hey there. This is really awesome. At Mod organizer there are a lot of downloaded things, but not installed. Is this okay?
How does this compare to Nolvus? Can this work with the GOG version?
I didn’t knew Skyrim on GOG was a thing lol
Nolvus is like over twice the size, so no it is not, wabbajacks are only set up for steam versions i think
random question - i have a AMD 6600xt and i9-10900k cpu and 32GB ram - im GUESSING this should work?
Hi, is it possible to put subtitles in other language with this modpack ?
So I installed the mad god overhaul 2.0 you talked about in your other video, how can this one complement the MGO? New to this took me so long to make it work I don't wanna delete everything and start over with another modlist
Why don't I have the contents of the AE with the NGVO?
Hi, I've been watching your skyrim videos for years and was dreaming of having my skyrim that modded, now I have Lenovo LOQ laptop, the specs are: I7 13th , RTX 4050, RAM 16, and 1tb SSD. I have installed this modlist and it runs fine without bugs but I have too low fps like 20 for most of the time, can you tell me if there is any way to fix this?
Just to be 100% sure, this modlist works without the AE upgrade right?
i dont use wabbajack and there really isnt any videos showing how to mod your skyrim to look like this on a step by step video
@@d_edo I think the old one works still, but you have to be really careful downgrading your Skyrim to the correct version with the downgrader tool :)
1080ti is kinda getting outdated for these new fancy 4K textures
@@PredCaliber I remember that in the old days when I first found your guides you could choose between 2K and 4K textures, is it still the case with this new guide or not?
@@d_edouse vramr and you’ll be fine
@@Maratain2004 Thank you for the suggestion, I'll download it for sure. Are you suggesting I follow the new 2024 guide or the old 2023 one?
@@d_edo I believe it’s this one th-cam.com/video/6o7RMEtbXHw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=21fgWJa4l__3NwO- on the nexus page the ‘12 years of Skyrim’ file should be right one. Just follow the steps in the description and there’s a user comment on how to downgrade the game to make it work. I had no issue downloading it the other day to play an old save. I get 45-60 fps on 1080 2600x setup at 1080p, i have not tried this new one with NGVO as it has much higher requirements and honestly the previous one still looks really good.
the only big problem is that gore mods dont work with AE
Enhanced blood and textures work perfectly fine with AE. Not sure if you need any more extreme gore mods? The blood splatter size can be set to pretty large already.
@@PredCaliber yes i know but I was talking about the deadly mulitation mod or maximum carnage I am still trying to port mc to AE
@@thedude761 Maximum carnage works for all versions. Deadly mutilation is an outdated mod. A new mod is coming soon called dismemberment framework which will make both redundant though.

Anyone wouldn't happen to know if there is something like this but for fallout 4? I have been troubleshooting and wiping re-downloading the fallout anomaly modlist just trying to see what can be altered to entirely 4k without causing conflict but have been running into several issues requiring complete redo so I was going to try and get a graphics overhaul and see if I can put anomaly intop of that but I'm still trying
hopefully someone can help but when i download NGVO it installs a bunch of zip folders and not the file structure shown in the video
I found that if you hit the open installation file button on wabajack it solved that for me. After instalation complete, bottom right of wabbajack,

Will this Wabbajack installer work with the pc game pass version of Skyrim se?
Do I need to disable any of the existing grass/fauna mods? Have followed your steps with folkvangr and patches etc and now have grass textures covering roads. like even on the windy road up to whiterun. Sorry if this is a stupid question, very new to all this!
I was just about to post this. Have you found a fix?
@@Hobfuscate not yet!
