It's crazy how ALEM was good and still he is awesome. His tchnique is brilliant. I was enjoying with this beats few years ago and still I see that its amazing.

speed
clearness
imaginative
and finally good combination
Battles are more about beatboxing from a beatboxers point of view.. Audience entertainment is a good part, but that's where rhythm and flow come in.. Most judges look at it from main perspectives like: creativity, technicality, showmanship, stage presence and crowd response.. Not just about entertaining the people, that would be where jams and freestyles come from. Battles are about showing up your opponent for the win, what happens on stage stays on stage.. No hard feelings..

the thing is that in throat bass u just gotta go as low as u can and beyond continue to push further n further even when it hurts just push it n through out the days if u really dedicate urself ull get a sick low bass in like 2 months when yet technicality is achieved over YEARS of experience...
i've been an alem fan for sooooo long. but this time i think kim had it. he is a total beast..!! big up KIM!
its very technical yes, but idk if you've followed both alem and skillets careers over the last few years, but they are 2 guys who focus on only technicality in many of their battles. Battle judging counts technicality yes, but musicality as well. lately they are starting to be more musical, we will see ho it goes

i respect what ur saying man, but i have a question for you. Are you saying dubstep is easy to do? if so i have to disagree completely. you know how long you have to train to get shit down like throat bass? kim has a type of bass that is not very difficult to do, but the heavy throat bass takes months man. dubstep is equally are hard as complex technicality. both take different training tho thats all

I was on the crowd during this battle... No doubt about KIM victory. I live in the same city as Alem and i know how strong he is. But you can not base your jugement on a video where the sound is not that good. Cauz Kim was louder and he made the whole stage shake with brutal sounds and bass. Judges were fair on this battle and don't forget who they are... LOS is a legend of beatbox for example.

Trust me, Alem has alot of fans, me being one of them, but here's the thing. The judges know their shit and so do alot of the people who listen to him. The general public will like it if it sounds nice, and if so do alot of beatboxers

What is there to understand? It either sounds good or it doesn't. And they both made the Beatbox Battle WC Final.
Alem knew he lost in the second round. You can tell by his face and how nervous he looked, he definitely didn't have much confidence in this battle.
Beatboxing is not technique only you know. its how you arrange the complex beats into something worth listening. KIM showed complex technicality and musicality. While Alem is too focused on his technicality that he forgot his musicality.

I noticed a paradox - k.i.m. lost in these battles, which is better and vice versa. Here, as for me, lost, and for example, during the last World Cup was clearly better than Shawn Lee (skipping the first slizzer crushed him ...)

lol i go to national and international competitions too... beatbox is also music. You and many others people forget about that. doing a bit as fast as you can is not a good point for jury, cauz its flowless. Combine melody and rhythm is the most important. Technique only is for suckers who cannot handle the powerness of music. Maxmoove.
