Fog Tsunami In Downtown Edmonton - Aug 6, 2017

The fog kept coming in and out like a tide all night long. Finally it stormed over the banks of the North Saskatchewan River and overtook this end of the city.

Hi again! Glad you were able to use the footage on your news broadcast. I grew up watching CBC the most so it was an honor to have something I created on your network.
I was just a tad curious as to why the date 'July 13' was shown over top the video. Did you folks think it was shot then? Not that it matters. Like I said, I was just curious. :)

Hi again! I'm just trying to track down where you found the July 13 date written - I don't see it on our Facebook or Twitter video. It was just shot this past Sunday, August 6, correct? I'm not sure where the July date would have come from either! If you point me in the right direction I'll try to get to the bottom of it. :)

At about 11 seconds in on the upper left hand corner of the screen of the broadcast (www.cbc.ca/player/play/1019472451530), the July 13 date pops up. Again, not a big deal at all. I was just trying to think of what it could reference to. :)
