    Thank you, Austin, for the fantastic explanation of Google search campaigns! I appreciate your insights.( 18:11) Regarding brand restrictions, my understanding is that they actually limit ads to show only on queries related to specific brands, rather than excluding brand terms. Your content is always informative and helpful. Keep up the great work!

    Excellent video! Regarding historical data of an account, I run a seasonal business. Would you consider data from a year ago too old to use for Max conversion? I never got to 30 conversions in a month anyhow. What do you think 😅

    • @growmyads
      @growmyads  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I've actually never tested this since I've never had a client account who only runs for a season and then shuts ads off - more than likely too old but depending on your risk tolerance I'd give it a test for a week or two and see if Google fires good traffic out of the gate.

    @abdulrehmanmalik9104 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Hi. Great video. How can you find out the ideal cost to set as a max bid for Clicks or Conversions in max clicks or taret cpa bidding strategies?

    • @growmyads
      @growmyads  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      For Max Clicks - you need to look at keyword data. If top of page bids are $20 for a keyword and bottom of page is $10. Then I would set my bid cap to around $12-$15. This allows me to be competitive but not bid too highly.
      For tCPA - you have to look at what you are currently hitting. For example, if you are getting a $100 CPA on average over last 30 days and you are switching from Max Clicks to CPA bidding then you should set your CPA to $100 or close to $100 (maybe $90 if you want to be more aggressive).
      Why? Because this is what the Machine Learning has been comfortably hitting so you aren't trying to push it too hard.
      Then let it run for a week or two and if you are still getting good results and CPAs are still within the target range of $100 you can start slowly decreasing your CPA goal down if you need to get CPA lower.

    Hello thanks for the amazing video. I started my first Google Ads Campaign 2 weeks ago, and I chose "maximise conversions". As you explained in the video, this did not work very well. Since seeing your video i switched to manual CPC. However now im seeing the message "Limited by budget" but its not even spending my daily budget. I am now doubting to lower or higher my manual cpc by 10%. Or is it better to switch to maximise clicks?

    Other question: I sell furniture online and plan to promote 3 different product category to google search (mirrors, buffets and coat racks). Shall I promote them within the same campaign with 1 product category per ad group ? what would be the best structure?

    • @growmyads
      @growmyads  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you have a smaller budget then you can start with one campaign and then put those categories in different ad groups. If you have a larger budget then just split them out since those are all different types of products or split them according to how you have your categories structured on your website navigation.

    Why did you put both phrase and exact match type of the same keyword? Using just the phrase match wouldn't it catch all the search terms that exact is going to catch?

    • @growmyads
      @growmyads  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Check out this video I did on match types: th-cam.com/video/pfB5ZdZKZzg/w-d-xo.html
      Should help bring some clarity on how match types work now.
      In short - exact will be tightest match type and I like seeing metrics on exact searches. Doesn't mean I'll keep the exact match keyword forever - only if it is profitable. Phrase will cast a wider net and in many cases behave close to how broad match behaved many years ago.
      If I only started with phrase would it pick up some of the exact match searches? Yes, but I would not get the amount of traffic on that exact search term as I would when I ping to Google I have it added as exact and want to bid on the exact match of that search.
      When starting a new campaign (depending on budget) a mix of exact and phrase is usually what I recommend and see best results with. If the budget is very small ($3k per month or under) then I typically will start with exact only until I get data coming in and build out from there.

    Have you experienced people calling to get job from your search ads? If yes,, How do you limit these people looking for a carpet cleaning job? If no, what is your best practices? Tyia

    • @growmyads
      @growmyads  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It will happen, yes. No real way of avoiding it since most people job searching are searching for the same thing as someone looking to have their carpet cleaning done e.g. "carpet cleaning companies near me"
      The best you can do is add negatives for any job related searches.

    • @growmyads

      Yea good catch. I should have explained that better. I knew already going into this account that CPCs were more likely to be $5 based off previous experience. Bid cap was set higher since I wanted to open up the traffic in the beginning and see what true CPCs would be once I started running and then would adjust if needed. But yes, if CPCs are in fact going to cost you $10 then ideally you want to run $100 per day budget.
