Today is the second Sunday of Easter and it is also is the last day of the octave (eight days) of Easter. Throughout the whole Easter week, Psalm 63 is the first Psalm used in the Lauds (morning prayer) of the the Liturgy of the Hours.
Awit ng Paghahangad is one of the most popular songs used at mass in the Philippines and it is also one of my favorite songs. Here I am again missing some Filipino songs so I thought of making a video to share to everyone. Being a musician, I also play the piano to pray having in mind what is attributed to St. Augustine, "He who sings well prays twice." Here, I let my fingers do the singing. I have provided the lyrics of the song for those who know the song and may want to sing along while watching. I intentionally did it so you can pray with me. I hope to do more videos in the future so "Pray with me" will become a series here on my Facebook account.
