That was the “rant” of a woman who had the right to be angry with those moms. She is nothing but supportive and respectful with your children everything they begged for from Abby.
I feel like they used Abby's antics as an excuse. I mean Abby is your typical old school dance teacher whose been teaching from the 60s. Politically incorrect and has only one volume but is a softie on the inside. YOunger child-centred parents don't get that. But now they don't have that excuse and they're still complaining about everything. SOme people think that being on reality TV makes them/their kid a star and the most talented person in their field. Most reality stars fall by the wayside and there are many talented people not on TV.

They all stepped in to work with these dancers (feeling really badly for them) but then got a taste of what Abby put up with from their mothers. However, instead of arguing with them they said what all good dance teachers say "I love your kids but I don't care what you think! It's my way or the highway." And good for them because you don't show up at Broadway or a TV show and say to the director "Excuse me, but I think it'd be better if my child was doing this." They'll tear up your kids' contract.
She is a legend in the world of entertainment and they should be HONORED to be in her presence. 💯

She did it on lifetime's show "bring it" & She did the same thing on numerous Diddy franchise reality shows on MTV & VH1. She is there to do a job with Abby Lee's girls. Constant name dropping is not going to win them a competition. It puts more pressure on the children and it makes the instructor (Laurianne) less likable and difficult to work with. Learn the difference between "BOASTING" & providing her credentials in an effort to obtain employment....

I’m so glad Laurieann stood up for herself! Niether jill or ashlee come from families of professional dancer nor were they ones themselves. It’s a completely different experience being on the sidelines, Laurieann was spot on in saying they don’t know dance because they have never experienced it and never will!

I love how all of Lifetime’s new videos are about Laurieann.
I love her so much, tells it how it is and doesn’t care about how others perceive the truth
Laurieann Gibson is an incredible creative director and choreographer! I would feel more than honored to have even a two minute class with her. I believe she was right to put these moms in their place. I feel that what went wrong with her short time on Dance Moms is that, as encouraging as she first was to these girls, she wanted to break the system of what wins in dance competition. I like different! But unfortunately the choreography she used does not work in dance competitions as well as it works on stage for famous singers. Thus, Laurieann became frustrated with her name on the line and sadly brought the girls back down when they didn't win. But they did learn and it was with beyond professional material. I hope they took that positivity away with them.

I love this choreographer, she's the REAL DEAL!! This parents need to find a coffee shop down the street and unload there drama there. LOVE THIS QUEEN
I loved the concept and I felt that the exercise portions were creative and connective to the story line. It was like the hook, the moms most definitely need to shut up and let her do her thing because she actually knows what she’s doing. And yes she is trying to win a competition, that’s certainly a competitive number, but more importantly she’s trying to make your children better dancers and challenge them and give them a taste of the industry they are about to enter so I think that’s a bit more important then this weeks comps!
This is one time I loved when LaurieAnn went off. Those know-it-all moms deserved every bit of that fiery sauce.🔥🔥🔥

I think that Laurieann being on this show was such a good experience for everybody. These moms really had themselves in a thought bubble having Abby as their coach and being on this show. Laurieann needed to show them that you can be stern and demand respect without being abusive, and I think she did a good job at that.
Laurieann was my favorite. She's so dynamic.and radiant but also.know how to demand respect and get it. Ladies like this inspire me
