I just discovered these guys, and everyone is right, sounds like 80's thrash, real actual thrash, vocals and everything. I love how their logo and cover art is very 80's thrash too.

Honestly "The big 4" were always just hyper commercialized and overrated. There's so much great lesser popular metal, accessibility isn't something we should see as a virtue. For every hit Megadeth, Slayer or Metallica had, they had five misses.
What I like so much about Havok is that most of their riffs and bridges sound so familiar and at times even cliche ridden, yet they sound so natural aggersive and fresh, so I just cant stop listening! That bridge at 2:05 gives me huge goosebumps!
Yeah, Pete Webber is an extremely under rated drummer. I think he is awesome, and even better live. I was a fan after seeing these guys live one time. Anyone can make a record; good bands are good live.

Huehue Huehuehue Yea right Slayer is a legacy that can't be touched. This band is good talent wise but not heavy enough. They don't have the power behind the speed....take note that most people will always know who Slayer is but not this band.
