Watching these in 2024 and seeing the trio in their prime and so young is strangely emotional. It’s a sad reality that we aren’t ever going to get a show quite like this. These three are the most unique and amazing TV presenters in history.

That tailgating challenge is pure genius in so many levels
I feel like it actually has inspired Transit van drivers to do that on non dual carriageways when people are already at the speed limit. It’s happened to me serval times to and from work and though I didn’t have that laser for exact gap, if I had to brake suddenly because of a sudden traffic light change etc they’d hit which is part of why I have a dash cam

Clarkson, this is why modern cars of 2018+ have cameras on their front grilles. Take my 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander SEL for example, we have 7 cameras on that car, all for parking and reversing it.
This was filmed during the 2000's. Are you saying that people during the 2000's should've predicted what cars would have in 2018+?

+Bobby Ray Parris Me too. However, Clarkson was a ticking time bomb waiting to get fired. Previous remarks and actions on camera leading up to him getting fired showed us that he was on borrowed time with the BBC. The end was near, even though it was hilarious at the time.

Jeremy had the best choice of van. The Ford Transit was part of my early childhood. Going to school, I had the Ford Transit as the school bus a few times-the mk3, the facelift and the mk4. We even had the LDV convoy as the school bus at one point.

Years ago, an ex mate of mine had a white Transit and went to get an LDV he was looking at purchasing, so I drove the Transit back. When we got to dual carriageway we had a stop start race like this one from the roundabout and the Transit walked it. My mirrors were full of LDV. Both just panel vans we used, not one a Luton like in the video.
