This band's lyrics are atrocious. It's so annoying how great the instrumentals are, only to be marred and hampered by whiny, overdramatic and immature vocals, and lyrics from the mind of a 13 year old girl.

+David Pottinger They're overwrought with sappy, saccharine sentimentality that seems so immature and limp-wristed. To me emotionally it comes across as a total flatline, Happiness and Instant Gratification feel so hollow.

Hm, I can understand why you feel that way. Though what's wrong with emotion? Sure some lyrics from Tilian's era of Dance Gavin Dance songs can sound sappy, but it's just how the dude feels. But, I can somewhat agree and say that I felt that these emotions could've been portrayed a bit better.
