It’s important to keep in mind, though, that these might be factory rejects or something similar, and this particular lot might have turned good, or they might have worse specs (such as current rating) or degrade faster than normal. Further testing is needed to ascertain whether this is a good product.

Let me tell you something as someone who has ordered a bunch off of aliexpress.
These are fake and of bad quality. I had LiitoKala 18650's, both LiFePO4 and Li-ion ones.
They will use fake batteries that have similar specs to original ones and while that may be fine for your low current applications like power banks if you draw higher currents they will malfunction, pose a fire threat and other interesting stuff.
Also, these have decadent performance and will lose capacity and current ratings after use.
And to make matters worse, there are tons of shops selling fake LiitoKala batteries, which are already fake.
In my personal opinion LiitoKala's may be fine if you are experienced, as you are, and know how to pick out good ones but recommending these to someone who is a little less informed could result in bad experience or worse stuff.
And to top it off, these come in different quality batches and so you may stumble onto decent quality second hand cells or you could get duds that are junk after 10 cycles.

I had free shipping. Yes. The power drops down fairly quickly, but around 3.2V, it stays very stable for a very long time. Once it dips below around 3.05-3.1v, then the cell begins to drop off faster and faster.

I've purchased numerous 32650/32700 cells from China and have found that when capacity is stated 6000mah it's usually a good deal and the cells are good and within specs. When advertised at double that capacity, you're going to get used cells that barely manage to test at 3000mah.

I have a JMT motorcycle battery built to fit a 2005 to 2013 BMW R1200. It weighs just 2 pounds against 8lbs for the lead acid. It has built in protection against over charge and over discharging.
Capacity is just 4AH compared to the lead acid at 14AH. It sounds bad but the lead will only give significant current down to 30% discharge. The LiFePO4 can go to at least 95% before the safety circuit steps in.
Cost for the JMT was £60 so comparable to a glass mat lead acid.
The snag is LiFePO4 do not like working hard in below degs C. The good news is a heavy load quickly warms the battery and then it will keep going and going.

Thanks for doing those capacity and IR tests! Do you have any plans to test cells at their current ratings? A low-impedance cell like this would typically be used at a pretty high discharge current level and the temperature these cells reach when discharged at their claimed rating is quite important for determining if the rating is true or not.

Bought a couple 11-11 (nice discount), and some more later on. Not all arrived but I got my refund later on. These batteries are very good for solar projects, they can handle overcharge very well (up to 4 Volt would not really hurt), but I have a simple protection circuit against that (cutoff at 3.7 Volt). And LED's stop drawing current if the cell goes below 2.8 Volts or so, and thus wont hurt the battery as well. And self discharge is very low as well. And the cycles! Using the 7Ah batteries and only drawing 100 mA or so will make them outlive me. Currently I am charging them with the 'left over' solar power. This is the moment of the day where the solar cells are outputting a low current, too low to put back energy in the net. At that point I start charging an array of super capacitors up to 24 Volts, and those are then discharged in a decent LiFePO4 charger. I like these batteries as they do have a high (low) resistance, that makes charging them easier (compared to LiPo). There is so much to say here .. .. .. .. ..

      @deslomeslager 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@ducimetierepatrick6336 I am impressed with the cells which I have (I bought a big set of used cells via ebay a year ago and am now using those). And since I recently bought a new laptop, I need even less current and so I need to think how I can use the 'left over' power for other purposes. But in winter times solar panels don't deliver much power, and I may need to switch to the original wall adapter.
If you intent on investing in batteries. you should do a new research, since Lithium and other metals are getting more and more expensive. A standard car battery may be easier to setup and perform maintenance on and is possible cheaper to buy then LiFePO4 cells with a BMS and a balancer. In my case, I went for second hand. Currently I have 5 LiFEPO4 cells from 200AH 'to be used in a project', also second hand ones. 4 is optimal, the fifth one wil be used for USB output (5 Volt via a small boost circuit) for my radio which is on all day (my radio is an old IPOD, the best internet radio since it used the least amount of power I can find anywhere: 0.5 Wat only ! ! ). The radio can run all winter on 1 of those 200AH cells.

@@ProlificInvention don’t get me wrong, most of the cells used in hoverboard packs were decent but usually were the MH1 type cells. Good capacity, medium discharge, economy cells because the MJ1’s, GA’s and 35E’s were all new to the market and so weas the 21700 so they were pricey. Now you can get MJ1’s for $4 a cell or less in bulk, $5 for P42A’s and the 2600-2800mah cells are down to $1 new/0.50 cents used. They just won’t get the same cycle life. It’s almost like you don’t see LiFe04 cells degrade because it takes a full 5-8 years to lose 20% of their capacity so they can last a quarter of your life before they truly die. And taking them down to 0.7V a cell? No big deal as long as they don’t sit there for months. Downside is the energy density sucks so not practical for a personal EV

As I understand it would need some heating pads inside and a bms that wont try and charge the batteries when they are under 0 Celsius. I presume also it would need some timer, because even if the temp sensor says the pack is over 0c after some heating the insides of the batteries would not be at the correct temperature.

@@electronicsNmore Right at the start of your video the label is nicely visible and I can see "Lii-70A" Sorry I see that's a part number, the spec sheet is something else.
10C would be really nice but even a 6C discharge would be fun. The application I have (currently using LiPo) requires peak loads of about 200Amp@48V and continuous 150A. I'd like to have about 3kwh total on board so looking at 15s X 8P on these cells.
If they hold up at continuous 30A that gives me plenty of power. 15s X 6P would even work but my run time would be shorter. Weight is a concern. 90 cells would be around 14 Kilos by the time I add wiring. That's a tad heavy. The mass energy density is less than LiPo of course. At $4.00USD a pop I'm looking at under $400! A very reasonable price for sure compared to the LiPos which are over twice that. These have a lot of other advantages over LiPos for sure.

7Amps....I need it for powerwheels 6s 0r 18v there about.
    it's not bad $30 investment.
if it works out...Use it in their faster toys :-P .
Or even electric wheel chairs. You can run up to 36 volts through stock esc.
    I ran a used wheel chair I got for $35 on 8s lipo 50C ...32v...or more (4.2 x 8)
Faster than STOCK 24 acid :-P
10s will work...it'll be cost effective...but mostly on Recharging time.
lithuim are lighter....it's easier on the a wheel chair

But the most important thing is LiFePos DO NOT EXPLODE AND RARELY EVER CATCH FIRE when shorted. This is why they're incredible. Just under the punch of a LiPo, tons of cycles and safer than Trump's money.
