Great work is a painful process to get the final result. Love this video and her work!!

Exuberant and fun = LOVELY!!! I'd love to make BIG things (NOT rectangular, have done small ones already) a bit like these but need BIG space plus HELP to make & lift them, hang them etc.!

I actually liked the zig zag "spine" she had at the beginning it blended with the other stuff.

using a small paint brush for everything would be painful. Needs to use the right tools for the job. Love her work, very vibrant and fun.

how does she get those forms made? I'm curious, seems like it could be a cool way to approach a canvas.

But then it is not your approach.

as she mentioned, she has some people build the shapes for her from drawings... i think from typical canvas over wood... Of course a successful artist like her could afford to pay the cost. She has since passed away :(

i hear what you say, but she has a significant body of work that doesnt look so much like this piece.

Don’t think it being cut out pieces really does anything for it ,just hard work ,and makes it too static .

It's fine. Maybe she should collaborate with a street artist and get some spray paint on it.

free standing is the way to go, when they put it on the wall, it looses the appeal for me. meh.
