    What are you metering for when you take these shots? Like is it the overall exposure within the entire frame or just the shadows or highlights? Very good tests

    I love overexposing every consumer grade color negative film by 1 stop. As long as you keep the shadows up, it still looks great for cheap.

    by far the best display of what pushing and pulling does to film. But how did you physical test this? did you shot the same scenario and develop 6 times or did you clip and develop??? I would like to perform a similar test so I know what works for my film stock and lighting scenarios

      Push/pull isn't really the same thing as under/over exposure. He's developing the entire roll normally, but just shooting the same scene at various exposure settings to show how the filmstock reacts to more/less light. No pushing or pulling going on here.
