I think that they should have had tails pull out a Lazer pistol and try to shoot the robots to no effect, then instead of cowering like a child he yells "can you lend me a hand sonic!?" Meanwhile he keeps shooting

I remember reading a children's book based on the Sonic Sat AM series "Sonic the Hedgehog by Michael Teitelbaum," published in 1988. In that book, Robotnik used to live with Sonic along with his Uncle Chuck when he was a child. Sonic was training to run faster and faster, while Robotnik was learning about machines. A falling out based on a failed experiment due in to small part to Robotnik's tampering is what led to their rivalry. Interesting read if you can find it.
I don't remember that specific story, but I definitely remember getting a book at the school book fair when I was a kid, and I remember it sticking out to me because it was in the same art style as that awesome cartoon.

@@TheMentok chaos and tikal's story should be expanded upon, and it's so sad that of all the characters returning in sonic forces that aren't used in a boss fight they chose chaos.

They probably removed Amy's sign cause they didn't want kids to be thinkin bout why sonic was waiting for amy at her house lol to be honest. That's probably another thing that the japanese dub wanted to add on top of the confession or somethin

There were some other British publications that used the Kintobor story too, specifically the mini-novels and the game books
They're not very well known but I was fortunate enough to be volunteering at a charity bookshop when they were donated, so I managed to scoop them up before they got thrown out (they weren't in good enough condition to charge money for them)
Really weird-ass trivia regarding Amy: there's a really early episode of Family Matters, made a couple of years before Sonic CD, where the grandma mentions an ancestor named Amy Rose.

We only have more confirmation of Tails's backstory with Origins and Prime, where tails is getting bullied and then sonic beats them up and tails follows him.
Fun fact about The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog: The voice of Robotnik was a British singer named John Baldry. He went by the name "Long John Baldry" because of his height. He was openly gay in the 1960s, right when it was decriminalized in the UK.
Anyway, in the British music scene, he had a younger friend named Reginald Dwight, who was just then starting to make a name for himself in the music industry. Dwight was engaged to a woman, but was having panic attacks and came close to killing himself and didn't understand why. Dwight didn't know/realize he was gay until John Baldry floated the idea to him. Dwight broke off the engagement and didn't kill himself.
Dwight took on the stage name Elton John, with the John part being an homage to John Baldry. The song "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" was about Long John Baldry and even refers to him as "Sugar Bear," which was Elton John's nickname for him.

Adore the Sonic Multiverse. I remember reading the Fleetwood comics. Enjoyed the toxic dry wit egotism. It was a break from the cutesy-held-back-adult-situation Archie's Comics. Don't underestimated Sonic the Hedgehog. Sh!t gets crazy. Still think Bad/Evil Sonic in Archie's Comics Zonic subplot is Fleetwood Comics.

I watched the sonic x anime, and I think the other one isnt sonic. because they explain it that shadow is made based on other world creature that they describe the same as how sonic is shaped.

Tails origins his parents died when he was born well his mother died in child brith and his father died of a sickness later later in his life he was tooken to a foster home and was partially loved and partially bullied and hated later he went on his own and was bullied some more however one day he found his love technology later he went on a adventure to save an island later he was bullied by two jackals but a blue streak spend bye he followed the hedgehog he was going to thank him but got sarced when he found out he was sonic the hedgehog he stopped later he found the blue hedgehogs airplane and the blue hedgehog was running back to his plane he jumped but fell the sonic heard it and they said the usual start of friendship Spench sonic taught tails who to fly and tails taught sonic to master the spindash the rest is history
Knuckles two of the remaining endide mated and give brith to him when he was 5 his parents died of old age and raised himself from their and found out he was destiny to gruad the master emerald one day a giant egg shaped machine crashed on the island and lied to him that a blue hedgehog and a two tailed fox were trying to take the emeralds so knuckles went to the start of the island and stole the emeralds form the duo and hide them in their home the spacial zones but the blue and yellow duo got the emeralds back knuckles later realized he was lied too and told sonic and tails to help him but ran put of energy when they got to sky starry but when it was compilers tails saved with the tornado knuckles then fought metellix/mecha sonic and then met amy on the plane who had a very long adventure to find sonic and the rest is history
