This is a long story, but the short version is the environment and culture! I visited BU before applying and it was one of the only schools I visited where everyone was smiling and seemed to actually like each other. There was no tense undercurrent of competition. That was really important to me. And my experience confirmed that observation. As much as one can love law school, I loved BU. Not every school will be the right fit for every person. I think it’s important to figure out what you want in a school and find a place that has those things.
