TNA circa 2016-2019 was what I like to call the "Recovery Era". Don Callis and Scott A'Dmore came in the company and save it from the abyss. A lot ppl forgot, by 2015, TNA was pretty much looking at death stare. But by miracle from the wrestling God's gave the company a 2nd chance. Don Callis and Scott A'Dmore took over creative. Start to build new generation of stars like Moose, Josh Alexander, and Jordynne Grace. Thanks to those two individuals, the company repair it's relationship with NJPW and CMLL after it was destroyed by the likes Vince Russo. The relationship with CMLL help bring in talents like Penta Jr. To TNA. I think TNA's road to recovery would have made them a strong number 2 again had it not for the creation of AEW and Covid 19.
2018 is when scott & Don came in , Jeff jarrett was in charge 2015-2017 GFW era in fact this redemption PPV was Scott & Dons first PPV for TNA as new management

Tna should’ve brought Penta in instead of Tessa. He’s a world champion who didn’t embarrass the company by taking the belt hostage. Tessa can’t say the same.

This match was supposed to be Alberto El Patron (Del Rio) vs Austin Aries for the world championship, but Alberto no-showed the 2018 Impact Wrestling vs. Lucha Underground show. Thankfully, Impact fans got to see the Penta and Fenix feud with Ohio vs. Everything, never before never again 😩

Penta won the World Title at Redemption and he lost it 2 days later on tapings back to Austin Aries (which no one is talking about him nowadays). What a bad and dumb decision. This is just like when Christian won the World Title at Extreme Rules 2011 in a ladder match and he lost the title to Randy Orton 2 days later on Smackdown tapings in 2011
