I love how Dazed explains his strats. "It's either gonna work, or it's not gonna work." But seriously, the way Dazed explains strats is so much more unique than any other. Genuinely helpful.
Affxct FPS If you are an entery fragger you will have people flashing for you and you will have a support player next to you to refrag if you die. The job of an entry fragger is to open room for other players to start fragging. Even if you die without getting an entery frag your team or support player will be able to refrag.
Wallex I already know that, I appreciate you taking the time to answer though. What I'm asking is the more intricate details of setting up your entry fragger. Like how DaZeD goes over flow charts for his players, I'm asking for a detailed analysis of executing on sites.
Affxct FPS No problem. But when executing sites you just common spots and stuff, idk if this helps cause I don't really understand what do you mean by how to set up your entry fragger :/
Uhm dunno how to explain, like if you plan to fake or play mind games with your opponents like FalleN and Pronax do, like where you set up your role players. And where you tell your entry to focus when he goes in, I know that his job is to make space but I'd find it interesting to see where DaZeD would send his entry in an execute.
There is no positioning, if you are an entry fragger look for a common spots where cts might be, there will be smokes thrown from your teammates to smoke off some positions to make an execute easier (example: Mirage A smokes). Let's say you want to take A on Mirage, and your team throws all the smokes (smoke for stairs, smoke for ct spawn, smoke for jungle) so when entering the site first thing you're gonna look at is under palace, cause if you have a palace player which you should there is no reason to check scaffolding cause palace player can see that. Then you check site (fire box, ninja, triple..) so by the time your there your team should follow you and by the time you are checking it you will find some players on positions you've checked take them down if you don't get the frag, your team should get it. Or let's say Cache. Smoke off car, your team throws a couple of flashes, first thing you check forklift, next Shroud, NBK. Then you enter the site and check site cause some players like to play site on A site on this map, then check quad. Again just check one by one position, it sounds difficult but it isn't that difficult. And if you are on a map where upon entering the site you are exposed to a lot of angels where cts might be rush in and try to find where they are, even if you die your team will know where at least 1 ct is and that is job done for you, you allowed them to frag and get to the bombsite.
Thankyou. Being new to leading is challenging but it's also my first team so I don't have much to go off of. Your new and old videos have made it clear as to what I should be covering with my team along with Josh's igl series and other videos! thanks hope you keep making these I will share this with my teammates and hopefully our CT side will improve.
Awesome video Dazed. Put out more like this. Feature specific spots for people to play and how to react to certain executes. Doing that for most common spots on each map will be a great video series
DaZed living up to the GodDazed name. I mean this man showed us how much he understands the game, and not only that, he is raw IGL material, brings the best out of his teammates. IMO, one of the legendary IGLs next to ex6tence, pronax, xizist. Sucks you are banned.
This is actually so informative and well explained i thinks its one of your best videos. Your tactical approach reveals the depth of the game that we so love. I think it's awesome, and i would love to see other maps/positions/t-side stats. Also i think if you would use noclip it would help to show your thought process more easiely and get into different team member positions. Awesome stuff, keep it up!
Dude you have no idea how much this video helps us.. You are a 200iq guy and it s a shame if you don t post more videos like this, because you will reach 1mil subs in a BEAT
Always hearing analysts talking about oh this team has a system etc etc always wondered what it may be,now I know all this system and flowchart things, this helps a lot when igling, mostly because in CT you don't need to IGL ( at least early round )
I like that flowchart theory. Common sense, but thinking about the strats in that particular way allows to reinforce the base you talked about. Good video!
Thanks DazeD, really helped a lot in understanding the game not just aim-focusing. Maybe do a similar thing for the T side where you can explain when to be aggresive/passive, how to counter agro CT pushes...etc yoy know better =)) Keep up the good work, you're a mind and a half =))
Dazed can you make a video showing some of the strongest ct setups and crossfires? Great vid, really brought a very important part of the game to attention.
Dude you are so serious and it's so nice because i want to be better and you are really helping me so thank you a lot and keep up the good work, so nice man
Could you go over the economy system for the CT side? I find myself in a sticky situation quite often on the CT side, trying to buy etc. If you could go over what should I buy in certain saves or full buys and compare the options, it would be very nice.
Can you do a video on how to bait out CT utility effectively without wasting your own, and also maybe a video on mid round calling since to most people that is the hardest part of a round for IGLs.
Shrimpyy honestly if ur playing low rank players or inexperienced u can jus throw a couple flashes over say B apts mirage and usually the guy freaks out if hes not experienced and just uses his smoke then his nade and flash and his molly after the smoke if u keep showing presence like making noise and spamming ur gun
But if you make lots of noise using gun spam it becomes obvious you are baiting attention and utility so they hold back, and I said up top without using your own utility since it leaves you with little to execute with.
it usually requires you to use your nades to get a nade response out of good players but, without nades the best way to make presence without dying is usually to either jiggle/jiggle and shoot if it's a position you can and show yourself, or just dry peak and run out with a full commit to getting a kill but that's super risky because you'll probably pull ct nades and a rotate if you succeed but if you fail, your team is 4v5 and they know which site your team is probably hitting
Hey Dazed, thank you so much for this vid, once again just proves that you are still such a great player and that you were such a god teamleader! Thank you for the tips and tricks, and I will definately take it into account when I'm playing CS nowadays.
I literally want to be an exact copy of you...you are the perfect role model for IGLs all over the world , keep up the good work and i hope they unban the IBP lineup #freeIBP
Exactly 2,400 likes! I really how DaZed trying to make the cs community grows by giving these kind of videos. Such a good way to improve and learning through videos like this. #FreeIBP
great video dazed! In your thoughts on mm video I thought it was interesting how you said that mmers have no idea how to play without nades. could you make a video about how to play force buys/eco rounds?
I'm better on ct side than I am T side. I'm just kind of confused or not exactly sure the best way to play T side. Can you make a video about the best ways to get info or play on T side? Like once you have the info what point in the round you execute the plan? When are the best times to peek certain spots etc.?
It's funny when he says 2-1-2 and a 1-3-1 because those are basketball defense's as well. Kinda cool seeing overlapping of sports into esports sometimes. Goes to show how CS is really an esport and not just a game.
The thing i don't get is if you know what you are gonna do every single time what stops the enemy from figuring out what you are gonna do every single time? This is more directed to leagues and High pro play for example SK, if they are gonna hold A like you said once just the cross smoke pops what stops competition from watching the demo and realizing and saying "they do this every time, here is how we are gunna stop them, etc" No hate just wanted to provoke some thoughts
Not really, this video utilizes the CT's reacting to smokes and doing different things based off that, I dont think T side you will be executing a play based off the CT's smokes and nades
At all times, what you're doing is taking action and responding to different scenarios. You prepare for that in practice the same way no matter which side you're on; through building a base, discussing scenarios and how to react to them, and then trying these reactions in scrims. Yes, the type of action you take in response to so and so will be different on a T or CT side, but the concept behind BUILDING and PRACTICING it is the same.
I love how Dazed explains his strats. "It's either gonna work, or it's not gonna work."
But seriously, the way Dazed explains strats is so much more unique than any other. Genuinely helpful.
agree
Steinfield yeah fully agree. one of the best analytical minds in the game
Steinfield and yeah, no wonder he was invited to csgo tournament to explain what was going on during the tournament
best swag impression ever
lmao ikr
G2 Niitro Ok its gonna go nah nah, and then nah nah and BAD Swag and then bam boom but the nah nah
what are you gonna do swag?
umnemunmeumneumenumnenemmuunemn
no swag, that is not gonna work
No swag, Bad swag
"Oh you're up this is good."
"We're gonna rob a bank"
so many times.....
lol
That's the reason why I installed ad-block
lmao thanks for reminding me of that
that swag impression tho
Really helpful, hope u make a series out of this.
Can you do a video on how to set up your entry fragger for a fight and how to structure the rest of your team during the mid round on T side.
Affxct FPS If you are an entery fragger you will have people flashing for you and you will have a support player next to you to refrag if you die. Could you make a video on t-side executes with smokes and molly. How players should decide who throws smokes and who enters into the site first.
NanDan JK just decide
not hard

DaZeD is so passionate about the game, really hope we get to see him return as a player!

Yo great video but to the editor, you should turn up the volume a bit I had to max out the volume on both the video and my system to hear it well!
Would be nice to see more videos focused on improving as a team and not only as a single player :) For example ingameleading, t sides etc.
love these kinds of videos thanks man
Could you go over the "advanced stuff" you mentioned.
I'm better on ct side than I am T side. I'm just kind of confused or not exactly sure the best way to play T side. Can you make a video about the best ways to get info or play on T side? James Davern that's just because of the map layout, nothing to do with basketball lol

Not really, this video utilizes the CT's reacting to smokes and doing different things based off that, I dont think T side you will be executing a play based off the CT's smokes and nades
