Here’s my question if she was so traumatized and abused why did she wait six days to take out the restraining order most people do it within 24 to 48 hours.
It’s completely obvious she’s lying but she’s protected by very powerful people. Wouldn’t surprise me if she wins
If he was so tramatised and abused why didn't he go get a restraining order? It works both ways in this case as they were both abusive.
@@scholarishere I don’t think she’s going to win Johnny Depp is way more powerful than she is. And I remember when the story came out I thought he was guilty but more evidence shows that she was the abuser.

I’ve loved Depp since “21 Jump Street.” So far, that “I’m a victim” look on her face, already has me in irate mode against her.

@@NeuroDeviant421 unfortunately I believe you're correct. This is based on the law. However, he is getting his voice out there and I think that is what is important to him. All of this bs will be in not just court record, but public record.
I love how her attorney is (purposely) focusing on how her article was not about Johnny Depp, and not about all the things she directly said and did to him that perfectly define "defamation." Just the fact that he's choosing to focus on her being within her lawful rights to use "freedom of speech" rather than whether or not she LIED about being physically abused as the whole point of this trial, already speaks volumes on this case. Is it defamatory to lie to the public and lie under oath? Guess we'll hear more about that later.
Depp should get into an open relationship with Jada & Will. Slaps are allowed.
No Jada and Amber should get into a relationship and Will and Johnny need to run far far away. Amber and Jada are two of a kind.

The reason he is focusing on the article is because Johnny's case is based on it...J.D. is saying she was trying to destroy him with this article....and ruin his career with this article...its the WHOLE basis of his case...do you understand he is sueing her because of the article?

Her attorney is really good in places. But then he overdramatizes something and he loses me. Keeping an open mind. Don’t believe either of them are the innocent victim honestly.
I think you're right but, the fact she is being vilified in public says it all. That even if she hit back and fought that it's still the man that ppl side with unless that woman looks and acts like the perfect scared victim. They were toxic together and it's their past experiences coming together but the fact he is denying and part in it I my mind isn't alright and I think it's crazy he has brought this civil case against her. I think Disney dropped him because he had become a liability
You're absolutely right, Donna. Honestly, I believe the reason that Amber will lose this case, is mainly because of her incompetent lawyers. Despite what many people think, Amber does actually have a strong case here. But her lawyers are messing it up shockingly badly. Like in this opening statement, her lawyer is basically trying to argue: "This case isn't about the relationship, or about the abuse, or about the drugs. But actually, it is." Like come on, make up your mind. They don't even have their angle planned out properly! 🤦🏻♂️
She is so manipulative. You don’t need a body language course to see it. Her victim play is ON while she looks at the jury’s to see their reaction. I can’t continue watching this she is getting me so upset for the violence she initiated because she couldn’t stand him pulling away. He was passive aggressive and that is a form of violence but I don’t believe he hit her or whatever she said.. she fabricates stuff and she deserves to pay for that!

But everyone has some level of petty passive aggression, and to call that violence can get people locked up for just being petty.

My thing is if Johnny Depp did theses things to Terd why would he take her to court. It makes no sense!! I believe he is innocent of all those allegations that Terd is saying he did to her!! The truth always comes out!!

That’s something I thought about myself. I’m going to keep watching, and my opinion can definitely change with new info, but as of now I am not believing Amber was an innocent party.
I asked the same thing. If he did those things, why fight so hard to take it to court? He seems shy and very private. He already has a ton of money so I doubt it was about losing movie roles. Most people would wait for the heat to die down and just hope people forget, if they were guilty. Why risk going to court and having a ton of evidence come out?
Who knows though. I’m interested to see when she gets on the stand what they will present.

I thought he said the article wasn't about Johnny? So i believe he contradicted himself when referring to patching holes in the ship from the article when referencing Johnnys "parade of witnesses". I could be wrong, i am just a regular joe here but thats what i heard.
It may not specify his name but it does say two years ago she became a public figure for domestic abuse and that is when she was full force into this charade with Johnny Depp.
Her lawyer isn't wrong though. I can't wait to see the evidence not just one side of it.
Ive only heard her lawyer speak so far, have some catching up to do. Sounded to me like the guy counselor already contradicted himself when clearly stating the article wasn't about johnny and turned around and within a few sentences said the article referring to a sinking ship and plugging holes was referring to johnnys "parade of people". I am of the belief bad acting (pun intended), by both of them. Im just here to decide for myself if the article was about johnny or not. So far her lawyer already has me leaning the other way. I have been told i am a good listener. I could be wrong and misinterpret what he said.

I am trained domestic violence crisis counselor. I and other members were battered. I dont believe it was domestic violence. Theres no pattern with other women but there is with Amber. He didnt push Kate down the stairs, she tripped. Kate even said so. He worked so hard and lost everything cuz of her. She cost him $22M alone from Disney and alot more from others. So very very sad to have their private stuff aired in public.

Wow. He should get held in contempt for lying about not trying to confuse the jury. Kinda felt I was watching the Kyle Rittenhouse case where the prosecutor was so confusing, misleading and down right doing the defenses job for them. How the fu%# did they get the job of being Amber's lawyers. If I was her and I heard that opening statement I would've fired everyone and hired anyone else at that point. His hope is that the jury are stupid AF with that opening statement. It was so bad. I'm not a lawyer, but I know with time to prepare I could have done a way better job. Hell, Saul Goodman would have killed the opening statement compared to what was given. She doesn't stand a chance if they continue down this path. Almost too embarrassed for the lawer to watch part two of this opening statement. Vincent Gambino had a better and understanding opening statement than this guy. Dumb founded how he still has a job.

The reading of the op-ed wasn't about Johnny UNTIL 10:27 then it became clear it was about Johnny Depp and not when she was younger as she stated earlier in the piece. Drones and cell phones were not developed yet when Amber was younger, or at least not common. Helicopters, they wouldn't have chased or followed her unless she'd been married to an A-lister.

After hearing this article read I’m surprised and disappointed that depp is suing. I have liked depp but I think I have to change my mind about him. This is a pathetic waste of the court. There should be a law against wasting the courts time. There should have been a criminal case if a crime was committed

The women lawyer was mumbling her words too many times. This is awful. The video of that bottle and the wine and him seeing she was video taping him. Well they going to show you a zoom version that does not show what exactly went on. She was antagonising the situation and at the end of the video she smiles at the camera.
