Each and every of us has his or her own preference on certain competitors - as a matter of fact, I'm a big supporter of Nino and Andra in WDC. We can have our own opinions on the couple's performances but we should not allow ourselves to comment things such as you can see below videos of Stefano and Anna. The emerge of such talented dancers as Pavel, Kirill, Nino, Troels etc. might make some people think that Stefano can not match them anymore, because he is a bit older, his style is obviously different. Same goes for the ladies. These "older guys" are still fantastic. Although we might prefer others instead of them, respect must still be given to them. Even if they probably won't read youtube comments from us, who are couch experts or completely amateurs compared to them :)
It’s not about age. If Yulia Z was there, she would have blown them all out of the water and she is 41. Don’t blame people that can see Anna and Stefano soberly without nostalgia goggles for their objectively very poor performances. Terrible balance not seen in the other dancers, and boring choreography that belongs in another era. You don’t need to be an expert to see Anna rolling on the outside of her feet and losing her balance. She either has a pretty serious injury or has been lazy with her training. The real problem is that them being given first place is pretty obvious cheating. No one wants to watch rigged comps.
they just bore me to tears. completely generic, lackluster and unremarkable. every time another couple is on screen, even if the couple looks like they belong in amateurs, I am watching the other couple. I thought Anna only lost balance in chacha and rumba but she loses her balance here too. this comp's judges are a JOKE
I agree. There is absolutely nothing interesting about this couple. Those who love them might as well watch their old videos and get more emotions from them than from these new ones that look outdated and boring. Yes, there is some good fluidity of movements and musicality, but nothing more. Empty content, no emotion, outdated technique. Any other couple would be more interesting to watch than this one.
@@Maria_Fomina Dancing is about "fluidity and musicality," not about looking artificially fast or dancing flashy moves out of character. This is essentially what top level adjudicators are looking for.
