I think it is a question of what mechs means. Because Zen can turn any set up into a gross play. He is comfortable no matter where the ball is, he just makes magic out of nothing. Dark is great at playing his version of RL. Super mechy, if he is in the air with the ball he is going to peak on you, but he relies more on decent set ups and he is more likely to overcommit to bad offense. That is my initial take before watching vid

Out of the 4 players you watched for this video. The ranking of players by skill goes 1. Vatira 2. Firstkiller 3. Daniel 4. Joyo. But purely mechanics it's Joyo, Daniel, and then FK and Vatira are really close. In terms of players like Zen, the mechanics he has aren't why he's the best player in the world, of course he has top tier mechanics but there are definitely a few players with better raw mechanics, the reason he's the bets player in the world is because he is so consistent and he is just a smart player and a great teammate. The kinds of plays joyo was hitting were the best we have ever seen from a pro player, but most (not all, but most) you won't see him hit in RLCS. He's hit nuts shots in RLCS but no where near the stuff you see in this montage. While with Firstkiller, everything you saw in that video was a purely comp shots. A lot of them were in RLCS and most of them went in because they were really well placed and/or really fast. The reason why firstkiller is so good also isn't his mechanics (they are also top tier but not as good as Joyo or Daniel), it's because he is a really fast, really smart and efficient player, and every time he hits the ball he hits it very hard and most shots are very well placed. Needless to say, mechanics aren't everything. In order to be an "S tier" player you probably need to have S tier mechanics, but all the best players in the world aren't all mechanics, they are the perfect combo of everything to make them the best players in the world.
I'm from EU and if u tell me Freestyle or aerial mechanics i instantly think about Joyo before Zen or Vatira. Them two last are just complete players but less mechanicals
