    Old school! I was in love with their Tanner Goods stuff 8 years back along with Teranishi Studios. Amazingly never copped anything and now having been fully Filsoned out its good to know they're still going

    Hey Nick, I love all the research you do before making your videos and that you offer alternative products. Those white sneakers you were wearing were so pristine that they were blinding! Thanks Nick.

      Thanks Joe! The white sneakers I have to keep clean or that crowd will murder me haha

    Nice review Nick. I’m with you though on the front pocket. It’s made so it’s very hard to put anything substantial into it. It’s too bad they didn’t dedicate some extra fabric just for the pocket, however; I assume that Tanner Goods didn’t want to have any loose material hanging around, when not in use. However; as you mention, it does seem to tick all the right boxes, making it very functional and easy to lug around. You never let us down Nick, as you always do a tremendous amount of research! Thanks for sharing your unbiased thoughts on the Tanner Goods’ Koru Rucksack bag...Ed...

    Thanks for the review and for introducing me to this great-looking backpack. And curse you because I'm expecting a Filson ripstop backpack in the post tomorrow and I thought I was done looking at bags! Two questions if you don't mind: If I wanted to really pack this high (like there was no room to even close the top) is the strap long enough to accommodate? And if so how likely is it to make airline carry-on?

    i wish they made it without the check pattern... thinking of buying the navy version

    Interesting, It's based around a thru hike UL style pack, but in heavyweight truck tarp ripstop.

    Great review! Millican is a really cool company that makes bags with some similar ~new heritage~ vibes. I’d love to see a review on their rolltop or rucksack bags!

      Those are cool! Thanks for the suggestion. I prefer 100% canvas myself but I love companies that make more eco friendly options like these.

    As usual good review, i think u have used wrong loop for sternum strap (it bothered me so checked everywhere for it :D )
    Also i saw this bag in last shoes video and was waiting for the bags review. (i didn't know the brand at that time)

    you should try the Soviet Veshmeshok just rub some wax into it t keep it waterproof ( 50% paraffin +20% petroleum jelly +30 bees wax ) if something breaks you can fix it with a needle and thread

    Great review Nick. Are you a one bag traveller? The 45L of my Tom Bihn aeronaut allows me to be (everywhere) but this looks better.

      I usually carry my big Filson duffle and a smaller backpack, Filson or Pack Animal or Bradley Mountain. Once I got that duffle I suddenly started packing more stuff!

    You should check out Duluth packs and the craft and lore roll top.

    • @Stridewise
      @Stridewise  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I mentioned Duluth Pack in the video! Craft and Lore really hide their bags, I had to Google them and they're sold out - either a good thing (popular!) or a bad thing (discontinued!) but glad you introduced me to them in any case! I'd call you "Charles" but it seems likely that's not your name...

    Can you do a top 10 most comfortable boots you've ever worn?

      Comfort is really hard to be objective about (th-cam.com/video/n7a9v_BsSl0/w-d-xo.html) but it's a good idea!
