- The Dallas Cowboys have been getting crushed for not only allowing the most points per game this season, but also for their lack of effort on certain plays including Odell Beckham Jr.’s long reverse touchdown run. During a conference call, starting safety Xavier Woods acknowledged their poor play then responded to questions about their effort, saying 'we’re in the NFL, you don’t expect guys going full-speed for 70 plays. You have to know how to use your mind while moving to create. Cowboys players now act like they're the Cowboys from the 90s. The irony is that the 90s Cowboys were superstars, yet they were some of the hardest working people in sports.

There's something unique about skip allowing Shannon to interrupt him to deliver an awesome flashback. Usually they interrupt each other. The chemistry between these two is wild. For me best co hosts I know.
Shannon directly credits Skip with getting him the job on FS1. Skip only agreed to do this show if Shannon was his partner. They also likely bonded over their tough upbringings. The respect these 2 have for one another goes deeper than just former player and media.

As a highly conditioned pro athlete, yes, yes you can go hard every play, if it doesn't come your way than downshift, but you should start every play going hard, and ending hard if it's coming your way.

@@GoldenBoyJRH When your team averages giving up 24 points in the first half, you'll play a lot of games from behind. The Cowboys lead the league in first half points allowed. They only allow 12.5 points per game in the 2nd half. That's 17th, which is way better than 32nd.
That defense is away worse than it seems. Their defense benefits from the opposing offense playing ball control with a big lead. If their opponents kept pouring on points, they'd give up about 50 points per game.
The Cowboys offense scores 12.5 points in the first half and 18.2 in the 2nd half. It does score more in the 2nd half, but not nearly the spread that the defense has. Falling behind early in games is mostly a defensive problem.
