Excellent video, I totally agree! I love having my own notes because it means I have something I can quickly and easily refer back to when working through practice questions or even during clinics or ward rounds when I'm on placement. Taking my notes digitally also means I can quickly search through all my notes for specific keywords and find exactly what I need in the blink of an eye :D Much better than sifting through Google all the time when revising and landing on random/unfamiliar websites that may or may not have the information I need.
hiii, I love your video!!! I have also watched so many videos on 'not-taking notes,' but as you've said, we really need notes. I am a person who always uses different resources for one topic, so it's really hard not to take notes. The only problem I have with taking notes is that it takes a lot of time. Do you have any tips on writing notes quickly and efficiently? :) (And sorry for my English; it's not my first language ;) )
Your English is perfect! I agree it can be easy to spend too much time taking notes. Something that helps me is asking myself, would my ‘future-self’ need to know this? How do I make these notes as concise as possible so that they are really easy to read in the future? That helps with stopping you from adding unnecessary information. I sometimes also set a timer and give myself ‘30 minutes’ or however long you want, to write notes on a topic. I’m surprisingly quicker at producing the same results when I can see the clock ticking down!
thank you so much for this started medical school recently and all everyone talks about is anki and flashcards love your videos helped me with my med prep last year x

could you film a video on how to create a study plan for multiple exams :) (maybe in spaced repetition style)
The simple approach is often the best
