We batch episodes, we've heard your complaints about narration. We used it to give you context as to why the G.I. Joes were there, and in an effort to improve on the videos since we've seen a dip in view count recently! Thanks for watching!

Ryan and Toy Federation crew, to give you some constructive feedback on the narration rather than just saying "it sucks". The appeal of the show before was as a viewer you were just hanging out like a lot of successful YT channels. I don't collect the vintage Star Wars 12 inch, but I must say, this episode was so informative. I learn so much from this channel and really appreciated the interaction in this one as I learned so much from both sides. The discussion on the boxes was spot on as well, as I am mostly a loose collector, if the box is decent and somewhat displayable, then I am ok, otherwise I don't really want to pay extra for a box. But that said, boxes are few and far between, so sometimes a better one is not going to come along, so you have to take what you can find. So I really can see the argument on both sides.

Hmmm...that's one thing I don't really like about some people...when they are really too talkative! It could be sincere and honest, but in my head I'm thinking: "Could you please shut the hell up for just a brief moment and let me think about it?!" Especially telephone/call center or door-to-door sales people! I really hate their persistence sometimes and especially when they try to socialize or start talking to you like they've known you for years! Just shut up and leave!
Love your videos and I dont even collect toys. To satiate the naysayers, wouldn't it be relatively easy for Ryan to record a brief voice-over to accompany any scene requiring context? All the best from Australia.
Another great National Geographic video on such historic artifacts from our past. Side note: has anyone thought of having a digital scale and start documenting the weight of the original artifacts to compare with the 3D reproductions?
Whoever is responding to these comments about the narration is being a bit too defensive. We love these videos, and the people are giving you feedback instead of leaving your channel. If you are having a dip in views, I would suggest some special videos like giving a tour of your own personal collections etc. Keep up the good work
The narration is fine if it's informative. The vintage toy commercials are great. Add fun facts about the item. Most importantly is better video angles to see the toys better. Maybe at the end show close up of key items from the trade in; possibly a missing piece obtained that had completed a toy that will be making to the showcase. I would be interested in seeing some operations behind the scenes once in a while like fixing toys to make them showcase worthy.
Who's idea was the voiceovers?.... Was it the Toy Attics guy? Because it seems like something he'd try and sell you on. You don't need it, and you don't need to try and keep things fresh. What you had was perfection.
To those who are hating the voiceover I wouldn’t say it SUCKS but it does take away from that homey feeling from previous videos. The rawness of the commentary while observing the toys in front of you being appraised/bought in is what makes it feel so comforting. The voiceover explaining things takes away from that. That’s my only critique. I’m sure there was some extra time put in editing adding the voiceover but I would maybe find a happy medium. Add it only in videos that don’t give you the full context of the trades etc. Great episode nonetheless! 👍
So funny reading all the comments on the narration. It reminds me in season two of Transformers and they changed the intro. I was like hell no! Peter Cullen would make a great voice over! Love you guys either way!

Having a beat up box definitely detracts in my book.
This guy knows his stuff. He’s me in the future when it comes to mezco/mafex and legends/mcfarlane
Idk y ppl had problems with the narration. It made the video flow really well and was very informative
Love your videos and I dont even collect toys. To satiate the naysayers, wouldn't it be relatively easy for Ryan to record a brief voice-over to accompany any scene requiring context? All the best from Australia.
Where do you get tge clear plastic cases that the GI Joe'snwere in ?
Another great National Geographic video on such historic artifacts from our past.
Side note: has anyone thought of having a digital scale and start documenting the weight of the original artifacts to compare with the 3D reproductions?
Whoever is responding to these comments about the narration is being a bit too defensive. We love these videos, and the people are giving you feedback instead of leaving your channel. If you are having a dip in views, I would suggest some special videos like giving a tour of your own personal collections etc. Keep up the good work
We will! Just addressing people and showing them the side they don't see.
It’s Ryan. He’s hiding behind the “ it can be anybody “ curtain.
@@Capo_1291100% not Ryan.
@@bono1083 how do you know
It's the long haired ninja turtle dude
This guy is good. Toy Federation is getting schooled with his knowledge 😅
This seller is negotiating against himself. Breathe dude. Breathe.
Which Thomas Newman score did you guys sample for your show? It fits perfectly.
nice pull.
That narrator is killing me! Pleeeeeaaasse drop it!!
I don't see how the narration is such a big deal to people, just happy you guys are keeping up the consistent videos and hard work thank you ❤❤❤
Who's idea was the voiceovers?.... Was it the Toy Attics guy? Because it seems like something he'd try and sell you on. You don't need it, and you don't need to try and keep things fresh. What you had was perfection.
Agreed.
just finished and you left us at a cliff hanger lol
The voice over narration makes it unwatchable. Sorry guys.
Two lines at the start of the video makes it unwatchable?... I'm heading out soon, I'll pick you up a Wahburger and some French cries.
For as incredible as your store is, I'm kind of shocked that you guys don't have some sort of sorting table and that you do all of your stuff on the floor on your knees
He likes it that way... reminds him of sorting toys as a kid.
@nintenjoel yeah I'm really starting to actually appreciate that they're down there on their knees on the floor
He said beautiful cutter.
Starting out great, I am thinking about making the drive there and if he just got these then it will be worth the extra 3 hours added to the drive.
By any chance, do you have 1/6 Premier Toys Lizard or Sandman?
