The G. I. Joe Omnibus was a fantastic purchase in my opinion. Hats off to Carson for his dedicated work on that masterpiece. Now, I’m more interested & look forward to Operation Recall to come out.
The omnibus looks amazing and the information provided is stunning. That operation recall sounds way more interesting than anything involving Cobra-La or the 2 live action movies.
i backed it way back in 2021. all in. cant wait to get my figures in hand!! i also backed Callsign Longbow and Legend of the hidden force. there is a lot of great oring lines coming out!!
Thank you both for the kind words! It's easy to talk about (sell) something that you believe in to your core. I'm so lucky to be able to work with these creators to make all new toys.
I'm one of those 80ties baby 90ties kid with zero intention of collecting. But I enjoy these videos every weekend. A local store in Youngstown Ohio just popped up and they started it because of Toy Federation.
I don't collect and have no desire to collect but I appreciate the fact that toys from my childhood, late 70s-early 90's, are still bought, sold and admired by so many. I love it when someone brings in a toy from the 80's that I had but have forgotten about. It sends me down a memory lane rabbit hole every time. Thanks toy federation for making it possible and thanks to all of the customers/collectors that share their collectables and stories. This is one of my favorite channels.
And I know it sounds hackneyed, but I want to add a few toys to my megre "collection" and can't really afford anything new-like. So I kinda just vicariously see what the toy marketplace is looking like.
I’ve never purchased a GI Joe figure. I was a little older then, but I can’t wait to purchase the Bear Claw figure! Love the enthusiasm of this generation.
I backed this 3D Joes Kickstarter, honestly the best money I ever spent! Get the book before it's gone! Endless hours of entertainment and toy art and process education.
I dont collect or plan on starting but I've watched all of your old videos and I play on watching everything you put out. I dont know why but I love your channel. Keep up the good work!!!
Hello from 🇬🇧England. I am now a fan of your show. The greatest asset that you have is the people that work with you . The events you go to and the shop are always presented in a most beautiful way. The shop is outstanding ,fabulous lay outs and very very clean every thing looks amazing . I will never get to your shop but thanks to the dreaded internet . I am there looking around listening to the hustle and bustle. I don’t know what to look at first. I would like to say thanks to all of the staff . The efforts that you all put in ,is there for all to see. How do you keep everything pristine and so sharp ?. Any way I must go now ,so until the next time take care. PS. I must not forget all the families that obviously support you and the team. Bye for now. Mr JR/UK
@toyfederation just wanted to say thank you for this video. I love the O-Ring GI Joe, as I grew up with it and it still holds a lot of nostalgia for me. I just ordered the GI Joe Omnibus, and I wouldn't have known about it without your video. It looks fantastic, and I can't wait to receive it! Your videos are always great and full of some tidbit of information that help the community as a whole! I wish you a long and successful life! Thank you for your videos, as they are bringing up great memories for me that I hold dear! Keep it up!
It would be awesome to see you at Xenia, OH Great Ohio Toy Show!! That show is my local show and we are moving right after the show to the mountains of NC and can’t wait to visit your shop and Retro Toy Con.
You guys are all awesome. Love Devin as well. I'm up in rhode island. I will be driving down to your shop for the first time ever in November. I'm excited to go down there to meet the guys and buy some toys. I ll be down there for a couple days so I can hopefully meet the guys
Hi Ryan , The omnibus book is an absolutely amazing piece it’s going to be the BIBLE of Gi Joe , the operation Recall project looks really exciting love the story line that it’s coming from Really love Carson’s passion & excitement with his projects , I’m from Australia so not sure if I’ll get to see them , but great video cheers Murray 🇦🇺
This is so awesome! Carson is such a great guy! I was finally able to meet him at a con close to home earlier this year. His work is truly outstanding and his passion for Gi Joe is contagious. He has a plethora of Gi Joe knowledge! I wasn’t alive to live in the golden age of Joe but I very much appreciate it and I want to learn more than I did growing up! Seeing Carson recreate the OG process is absolutely amazing!
Excellent work on the book, I have it open on my table so I can enjoy it daily. Just amazing work. Also looking forward to getting my Operation Recall figs.
Holy smokes that Joe book looks glorious. Super informative episode and gonna have to look up 3D Joe's and operation recall now. Hats off fellas for another excellent Saturday morning episode 👍👍
Nice to see a Dan crossover. As a collector for personal reasons, I've seen such a huge shift in the last decade - but particularly since the Pandemic. Pricing expectation has gone through the roof, while the market really doesn't seem to have shifted all that much. And it seems a lot of the pricing is not being set by the stores, or the collectors themselves, but by people who have seen some kind of flip channel or other, realise they have an obscure piece in their loft, and are hoping someone somewhere will just throw down the cash. Seeing your shop do it the cost and balance way is much more reasonable and realistic way of viewing and valuing pieces.
I remember the tour of the Alamo seeing the red and white Schwinn bicycle in the basement tour. I really thought it was used to drive back the Mexican troops but heard some guy with a mind of a kid lost it and heard it was there. Glad he keeps it there on loan, such a rad bike.
Jersey Mikes!!! The original is about 5miles from my house (Pt Pleasant NJ) and their national headquarters is in Manasquan near me as well. I will swing by and see about getting you that sponsorship
I had one of those Tanks when I was about 5 years old, I was bought up by my grandfather and his last military posting was in Cyprus and it came back to England with us, (I can remember it still had its box), it would shoot shells that you put caps in which went bang when they hit whatever you shot at. Cannot remember what happened to it because it was like 54ish years ago and I was about 5..... I loved that Tank & still have a picture of me with the tank on a coffee table.
"Murfreesboro man pleads guilty in fraudulent bar code shoplifting ring" How is a guy who pled guilty to over $300,000 of toy fraud allowed in a toy show?
Trivia: Do you remember the episode of the tv show "Three's Company" where Janet was getting dance lessons from a sleazy dance instructor named Micheal who kept trying to hit on her, well that was the voice actor Micheal Bell who voiced Duke on the GI Joe cartoon.
Ahhhhj.....pluto TV replayed that episode like 12 times in a row last month!!... i always had it running in a miniscrene, while simultaneously surfing my full screen pornko...and whackin it
How much of that GI Joe book dives into the vehicles, arguably the real stars of the Joe line? I've often wondered about the conception and details of many of them.
What are your thoughts on Carson's project?
The G. I. Joe Omnibus was a fantastic purchase in my opinion. Hats off to Carson for his dedicated work on that masterpiece.

Freaking awesome! I don’t collect Joes but that is amazing. So well done
9:10 you totally pushed that kid out of the way
The GI Joe and Operation Recall guy is a tour de force. His knowledge, passion, salesmanship and drive is off the charts
Absolutely! That guy is a monster. Need half the passion he has about... something. Major respect and admiration for him.
Thank you both for the kind words! It's easy to talk about (sell) something that you believe in to your core. I'm so lucky to be able to work with these creators to make all new toys.
Toy Federation and Toy Galaxy in one vid! Two giants coming together.
My God that History of GIJOE hardcover book looks glorious!
I'm one of those 80ties baby 90ties kid with zero intention of collecting. But I enjoy these videos every weekend. A local store in Youngstown Ohio just popped up and they started it because of Toy Federation.
I'm in the same boat. I don't collect toys but I love this show and the guys
What a badass interview with the book designer 😂❤
That's the same guy that annoyed Ryan sooo much at another Con he had to walk away from him. At the beginning.
Dudes gonna have to cope after November 5th
That's that bully guy again, ain't it.....
If Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure taught me anything, it’s that there’s no basement at the Alamo.
As a Texan, I approve this message
The A.I just hit with this comment as I watched video wow 🤯
I'm not even a Joe fan, but WOW that hardcover book looks AMAZING.
I don't collect and have no desire to collect but I appreciate the fact that toys from my childhood, late 70s-early 90's, are still bought, sold and admired by so many. I like this guy and his videos. he seems like such a nice guy. knows alot. I've watched all the videos.
That GI Joe book guy is a fantastic salesman!
I dont collect toys at all but i absolutely love this channel
I am one of those that don’t collect toys, but I like your channel,I find it very interesting, there’s some really great toys out there!
And I know it sounds hackneyed, but I want to add a few toys to my megre "collection" and can't really afford anything new-like. So I kinda just vicariously see what the toy marketplace is looking like.
Operation Recall looks awesome. It’s like getting brand new Joes from all the OG Joe guys ❤
Thank you!!! We couldn't have done it without you.
Awesome video as usual!!! Congrats on 60k subs, well deserved!!!
Now I want Jersey Mikes
Jersey mikes sucks! All chain sub shops are inferior to mom and pop delis. Quality of product is lacking in mass production.
I live in New Jersey and I can confirm you do not go to Jersey Mikes for a sandwich. Find a good Italian deli.
@@brooke8567sure, but how many people actually have a mom and pop sub shop nearby. They’ve all gone the way of the 🦤.
I dont collect or plan on starting but I've watched all of your old videos and I play on watching everything you put out. I dont know why but I love your channel. Keep up the good work!!!

@toyfederation just wanted to say thank you for this video. I love the O-Ring GI Joe, as I grew up with it and it still holds a lot of nostalgia for me. Another great Saturday morning. Thanks for sharing. That G.I. Joe book looks awesome.
Great GI Joe project lots of work and it shows
Started with a Dan and ended with a Dan... a tale of two Dans! Operation Recall looks really awesome... might need to pre-order!
had zero knowledge on Operation Recall but that dude got me interested.
Shared passion for action figure history right there… amazing stuff!🙌
It would be awesome to see you at Xenia, OH Great Ohio Toy Show!! That show is my local show and we are moving right after the show to the mountains of NC and can’t wait to visit your shop and Retro Toy Con.
That Joe art book is f'n amazing! Big and heavy. Definitely worth every penny.
You guys are all awesome. Love Devin as well. I'm up in rhode island. I will be driving down to your shop for the first time ever in November. I'm excited to go down there to meet the guys and buy some toys. I ll be down there for a couple days so I can hopefully meet the guys
Awesome video as usual ! I love everything about that last 3 minutes of discussion

I'm not even into collecting GI Joe and watching this has me hyped and smiling, great energy.
You guys are great. This could be a great show on TV. You’re all very talented people.
That stop at the GI Joe book booth was probably one of your best conventions/show content yet!
One of the best episodes here 👍
This was a really fun and informative video. Btw, congrats on 60K subscribers!
Amazing book. Not into GI Joe but I would love something so comprehensive for the toy lines I'm into.

I love the cross over with Toy Galaxy
Excellent work on the book, I have it open on my table so I can enjoy it daily. Just amazing work. Also looking forward to getting my Operation Recall figs.
Cool seeing toy galaxy and toy federation together.
WHAT IS Ryan's order at Jersey Mike's?
The Tiger Joe tank was used extensively as the basis for a lot of vehicles used in Gerry Anderson's TV shows , most notably the Shado mobile from UFO.
We started with Pixel Dan and ended with Dan from Secret Galaxy. Dope bookends, gentlemen.
Holy smokes that Joe book looks glorious. Super informative episode and gonna have to look up 3D Joe's and operation recall now. Hats off fellas for another excellent Saturday morning episode 👍👍
Both Dans! Awesome dudes! And that Joe stuff is really cool & interesting!
Fantastic episode.
With the Dan cameo to boot!!

That Jack Burton custom 😍😍😍
Hey Dan from Secret Galaxy! Unexpected crossover episode of two great youtube channels.
Only the real ones got the “Alamo”
Scrolling to see who else caught it 😂
Wasn't Bearclaw the name of the old man in the woods that Robert Redford runs into in the movie Jeremiah Johnson?
I remember the tour of the Alamo seeing the red and white Schwinn bicycle in the basement tour. I really thought it was used to drive back the Mexican troops but heard some guy with a mind of a kid lost it and heard it was there. Glad he keeps it there on loan, such a rad bike.
Enjoyed this
You didn't get the Alamo Basement joke?
Pee Wee!
Is the final boss James Adkins? The dude convicted of shoplifting Star Wars toys?
If it's not it's his twin . I'd walk way from him too he's a scumbag
One in the same, allegedly
☢️

This was really an interesting episode .Great stuff, and thanks for the video, Ryan.
G.I.JOE has a very interesting story
Loved the Deluxe Reading Tiger Joe tank.
Great to see some Action Force here. That is my main toy collection. Been collecting them since they first came out
sweet I was in a GI Joe mood today! lol
great show, is getting better
Great episode. YO JOE. Keep.it up
Dan Larson cameo! His channel is great!
I backed the GI Joe Omnibus. It's a glorious beast and highly recommended. Just got my Blu Ray pack from Carson last week.
Awesome stuff
I can't wait, will be there on the 19th. We need more Devin.
“It’s cool” = man I want that Shredder so bad. You were thinking of Davey Crockett at the Alamo not Daniel Boone.
"Murfreesboro man pleads guilty in fraudulent bar code shoplifting ring"
How is a guy who pled guilty to over $300,000 of toy fraud allowed in a toy show?
yup! Sunbow cartoons exist is a shared universe. Even Jem!
That's crazy... Original designers doing new models.... you don't get more GIJOE then that.
What a cool project!
Haha he worked in that joke from Pee Wees big adventure about the basement in the Alamo! 😂
It's Xenia, OH. Pronounced "Zeen-ya". Love your videos, keep it up.
Is that Michael Mercer at 21:00?
That project is so cool
Got my Joe book…Black Friday deal 100$!!!!
I need that book!!
Trivia: Do you remember the episode of the tv show "Three's Company" where Janet was getting dance lessons from a sleazy dance instructor named Micheal who kept trying to hit on her, well that was the voice actor Micheal Bell who voiced Duke on the GI Joe cartoon.

Wow amazing gi Joe rant I’m so invested! So is that like a possibility to ever be publicly released????
There’s no basement in the Alamo!!
That book is sweet great video bro
We need a tour of Ryan personal collection 😁
Out of curiosity where is the store located? The videos are all amazing. I collect vintage transformers.
Very cool episode.
How much of that GI Joe book dives into the vehicles, arguably the real stars of the Joe line? I've often wondered about the conception and details of many of them.
Every vehicle, playset, and even peripheral (third party) licensed product with original art is shown!
Wish toy galaxy would make more unboxing videos.
Can the book still be backed on Kickstarter or is it closed?
Ralph Macchio selling toys again.
I apologize in advance for being a smartass lol
Where do we get a sleeveless Hoodie?
When will the figures come out. Operation Recall figures
