    The best thing I've ever found was a old canoe it's at the Paynes prairie museum in Gainesville FL,it was on the side of the okalawaha river back in the early 80's I always thought it was a log i used it to sit on while I fished and one day a heavy rain exposed the entire length and a bunch of arrow heads and other tools, Since then I've found a lot of Indian artifacts on clearing jobs but nothing like that canoe

    You sure knew a lot about that etching for it to be fresh find . And clean. And it’s a low quality piece of material. Thinner than ANY forget I’ve ever seen . And I’ve seen thousands. Nice and clean too. Also , tee pees ? Only plains Indians used them. 🤷🏻‍♂️just my observations

Who knows if theyd even have all the materials in the current region or if they had to trade for some or return to the winter camps or something. Nothing back then was as simple as “just make another one”.

    My good friend found a gorget made of coral with 4 holes drilled etchings of deer in the mouth of a cave in Clarksville,TN. Along with that he found 2 tusk fossilized and stuck to the cave wall. I got to hold the gorget but the tusks where chipped out and inside a glass case.

    My brother in law died 3 years ago unexpectedly. At his wake they displayed all these arrowheads he has been collecting for years . He would look up the history of certain areas with strong native history and go digging. The amazing collection this man had was incredible I was in shock at what he had . He kept it quiet because a lot of his digs were on private or government owned properties. Amazing stuff I wish I had the time and knowledge very intriguing

    Very cool. Now I know.... I have 2 of these that were mom's before she passed away. I played with the in the early 80s as a kid . All I ever knew about them were momma said they were here great grandmothers . Got several other pieces like arrowheads and other small pieces of stone.     As a native American we are told to leave it where we found it because it is extremely bad to displace it and should not be disturbed if your house ends up extremely haunted or you yourself become haunted you know why

    The best thing I ever found was my phone, after forgetting where I last put it down. Found it in the fridge, next to the keys. The relief was priceless
