  • Astronauts are supposed to be by themselves in space, which is a frightening, overwhelming place. Therefore, it is reasonable to conclude that the likelihood of them encountering someone or something is unexpectedly low. But when they do, how are they supposed to respond?
When you see something in space, it's probably not what you expected to see because you never expect it there. What else should you anticipate when you leave your neighborhood and travel outside of your comfort zone?
Astronauts have had terrifying things happen to them while in space. Are these workplace conspiracies or actual experiences?
    Let's find out!

You wouldn't say that if you met some of the extraterrestrials. There's a reason why those in the government who know about them are willing to do everything to keep it secret. Some of the ETs are very dangerous. Unfortunately the government has to be just as dangerous to keep the public safe.

I do believe there is life out there. Back in the mid 2000's I was up at my dads cabin in michigans upper peninsula. The cabin is out in the country and at night there are no street lights. The view of the stars is incredible crystal clear. One night I was just gazing at the stars when I noticed what I thought was a star to start moving. It started moving up from where it was, it would stop go back down then go to the far left then back to it's starting point. It was doing a backwards L shape. After every time it did that it stopped for a few seconds and restarted. I was mesmerised. The distance it was traveling had to be thousands of miles and I can't even comprehend the speed it was moving. After a while I called my dad out who was a very calm and rational man. He saw that and he really got scared. I never seen him loose his cool. He really thought something was going to come down and get us. He ran back in the house screaming at me to get inside. When I came in he was breaking out the guns. He told me to stay in the house so we locked up for the night. It was a very strange experience.

@2:06 The Knocks are most likely the result of the spaceship outer skin contracting due to the cold and the interior skin contracting being hotter inside. If I was that Chinese astronaut I'd be more worried that those knocks were a sign of the spaceship falling apart. Everyone knows the Chinese aren't the best when it comes to quality.

It's also interesting: Science is defined as knowledge gained by observation and experimentation (results of which can be duplicated / repeatedly) ... yet it's a matter of perspective and, yes, also 'belief'.
In the morning we see the sun 'rise' in the East, at noon it's overhead, then we see it 'set' in the West. Does the sun go around the Earth? or does the Earth go around the sun?
Most 'science-minded' people will choose the answer that actually is against what they observe. Effectively taking out of the definition of 'Science' and into the realm of 'belief' 🤔

Our sense are not "notoriously" unreliable. Our senses are some of the strongest thing we have. How many times have you felt like you're being watched by somebody and turn around to find someone is watching you. How many times have you been in a situation where you feel uncomfortable so you walk away from it only to find out there was something more to that situation that could have went badly had you stayed or went with people. Our senses are built into us for a reason and you should always trust them to a certain extent. Never throw our your trust completely in something built into you n

Before he even achieved his second flight into space on a shuttle, John Young, perhaps NASA's greatest astronauts, had achieved 6 flights into space.

John Glenn weighed 189 pounds and mission thought he might be too heavy. And now that wouldn't be an issue. It was amazing in the beginning. They had very little idea what could happen. The original 7 were true explorers and I was so amazed.
I still think Chuck Yeager should've been included.

It's normal when you are in a strange never experienced area, you hear or seen things who are not there. Your imagination is playing with you, thoughts and imaginaire conclusions make together you will see or hear things.

I love the hallucination explanation of millions of UFO , sasquatch, etc sightings...you just assume everything mysterious or unexplained is someone hallucinating , and no more thought is required...I wonder, though, why everyone's hallucinations are so consistent..

If I was to guess, I'd say that many of these "mysteries are a result of people being in a stressful, unfamiliar environment where they, and their minds are craving for ANYTHING unusual that can relieve the monotony/uncertainty of their temporary environment; unusual sounds and sights that "cannot be explained or dismissed" .
Was there an actual "space snake'?
    Was there actual "space music"?
We know that the "absence" of gravity, and the ever real presence of hard radiation CAN (probably does) affect human physiology which includes the human brain procceses which in turn can affest human senses such as the sense of sight, and the sense of hearing. Using this line of reasoning, the "space snake" may have been an short lives, temporary aberration upon the optic nerves ot the eyes caused by the effects of low gravity, and a stressed out brain which is all too aware that a relatively thin pieve of spacecraft or spacesuit is all that stands between a n astronaut being alive, or dead.
As for the "space music" ; when i was going under during an eye operation a few years ago, i remember that as I went under, I could hear a strange kind of music playing in the operating room. Later, after recovering, i casually mentioned this experience to one of the nurses who had been assisting in the procedure. She was surprised, and told me that there had been no music playing in the operating room during the entire time of the procedure. PERHAPS the stress and anxiety due to my fear had triggered something within my psyche as it tried to "calm" my nerves.
Though I can state honestly, that the "music" that I heard was nothing remotely similar, to the usual rhythm and melody in my experience as a long practicing member of my church choir, and/or pop music group, the "music' was NOT what i would call otherworldly, but it was definitely NOT regular music as I know it.

Knocking on the outside of a space capsule could be heard by a human occupant inside. Provided that capsule is pressurized at the time.

Space snakes must be cool, there's plenty of organic molecule in space, would make sense that there's life as well. (not as we know it though)

Thanks for the information in this video. At my age now, I like the information in videos like these, and I see them with awe and wonder. Maybe three decades ago, when I was young and immature, I would rely so much on logic and reason as if they were my God. I would become so uncomfortable with "strange" phenomena, including magic, that my ego would try to find all the possible logical explanations just so it would conveniently fit my rational worldview and so that I would be conveniently convinced that it is a hoax (and more importantly) that I'm right. But, at my age now, I am just so amazed at all possibilities, even those that cannot be explained by science and logic. Thank you for this wonderful video.
