I really like the list on swapped out 1 satori and 1 garp for 2 viola for more consistency on adding life and back up blocker. Also use it as cheeky way early game to sort opponent life if I’m against something with tricky triggers.
I love this leader and have been playing it since release. I'm interested to try your take on it. It looks more consistent as i was just going to run Xdrake in 08 for the top 5 setup like you would in a Doffy deck.
Any opinion regarding adding the yellow promo sabo? It’s a 2k and is a swinger so you can run baby sabo and reduce the odds of whiffing or running out of babies in hand
I tried it in OP07 and it just didn’t feel good. Sure having a 2k to search off of Garp is nice, but adding another whole 4-of baby with another target is just doing too much. The deck is already really tight and I’m not really willing to sacrifice anything for that package. I really think the best way to play this deck is to just go for Luffy and Ace. Especially with the new 1 cost event that can search out a luffy.

Seems interesting! Searchable and gives the deck some needed removal. Bouncing a Garp/Hiyori back to hand sounds really strong too. I’ll definitely try him out!
Just sayin at the 18 minutes where you joggled your decision between playing rush ace or blocker one you could have used an first Luffy starter effect to draw the blocker ho down a life an then put rush ace back at life so when you played him through the little ace you wpuld have been at two but playing the blocker was the safer option i think
I think that game against RP law when he had kid and killer and Reiju with Sachi Penguin and 5 cards in hand. I think you should have tried for game you could’ve used leader ability put a 5 on top of it is lucky enough to be rush Ace your just in a better spot. Then you use your kid Ace to try to bring the big one and you have a 9k leader and a Rush 7k an he’s at 1 life with still 6 don left over to use so RP law does get to run more 2ks but what should’ve I guess made you think his hand might not be that good was that he was holding a lot of bricks that could’ve been 2ks but my money is on that he had events and 5 drops lol an maybe 2- 2ks at best cause you can swing 10k with rush Ace and 12k with lead and if he has it he has it
But if you used leader ability and didn’t get rush Ace you could’ve put a 5 drop on top then played Hiyori and swapped for the Rush Ace you have in hand just a thought

I really like Viola from EB01 in this deck. Pretty damn good in this deck

why not the event from st13 that does exactly the same that garp instead of the op08 one?
That event can’t set up top of deck to ensure leader effect on the next turn. Not to mention it can’t search out Whitebeard
