Ok, i've watched this a dozen times already since i first discovered it one day ago. Oddly enough i was looking for the song "Love is Blue", and this popped up. Condensing the scenes down to 3 minutes and putting it to the perfect piece of music is well, well, i'm not even sure how to describe it. So beautiful, so romantic, so touching, so emotional... This is 3 minutes of one of the greatest cinematic pieces i will ever see...how lucky am i ...

I believe why it's gets emotional at the end because the girl finally sees Charlie for the first time. Up until now the girl was blind and Charlie was able to provide the money to restore her sight.

Love this movie about a young lady that is blind and Charlie Chaplin comes up with money for her to see a doctor to correct her eye sight. To me it seems like such an emotional movie that travels to the heart then reaches to the soul. I love the French composition of Love Is Blue as music back up to the silent film.
