sebenarnya saya baru tahu Budu bukan sahaja di kelantan Tetapi di itali juga ada budu cara mereka menbuatnya adalah sama cuma mereka makan bahagian yang jernih bersama roti ...anda boleh melihat nya didalam rancagan David Rocco in itali ..tapi saya terlupa episodnya 100% itali budu😅

I think Emma said it tastes a little bit like anchovies. If you don't know it yet, budu is made from fermented anchovies! Budu is best mixed with birds eye chillis, lots of shallots, fresh tomatoes (or cherry tomatoes) and fresh squeeze of lime juice.
Budu is fermented fish sauce by the way it not Kelantanish it either thai or other south east Asia countries and others European countries has there version of budu it garum if not mistaken

Actually belacan is come from Scotland but budu is from Kelantan.So...are u going to climbing some kind of belacan hill.Kurang asam gelugor sambal belacan. Haha

We put budu in most of our cooking too as seasoning making our dishes very rich in flavour.

Yes, I saw in a TV program, fermented dried anchovies is one of the ingredients for Worscheister sauce.
Budu is very nice in nasi kerabu. Out of the popular Malay condiments, which is your favorite, sambal belacan, budu, tempoyak, cincalok etc.
