Wow. I had the former world record for this category and I'm amazed by all these new strats. It really makes me want to run this category again using some of these tricks (like resetting Walter's RNG and using amp at the start of tank 4). I think sub-12 is inevitable (:
why dont you buy a ton of fish before using amp? maybe you could use seymour in conjunction? you could then theoretically double your money every punch, no?
It's better this way, surprisingly. 2 reasons: - Angie mechanics. She revives fish at a somewhat constant rate on average, so more fish = lower % of fish revived. It takes extra time to buy a fish and click on a gem, so instead that time could be spent rezapping the fish Angie just saved, which were free fish. Also she will be right next to the fish she just saved, which almost guarantees they're gonna come back again without Angie doing her weird inefficient movement patterns. - Amp is programmed wrong. If you buy too many fish, the zaps don't give you as much as you'd expect. For example if I have $3000 and have 1 fish already, then buy fish and zap, I should have $6200. But instead I end up with about $5000. $3000 is the smallest amount where I'm SURE the returns are substantially lower than they should be (because it happens all the time in bonus adventure level 1-3). I don't know how many fish you can buy before Amp breaks, but I just try to keep the number low.
It may be, since the coding for such a feature seems like a simple task that you wouldn't mess it up. And it's not capped exactly, but it seems like there are just diminishing returns of some sort. Although it could even just be an error, such as not allowing 2 diamonds to spawn in the same location. At this point nobody knows why!
11:27 I love that Angie fails to save both the guppy and the ultravore.
Angie AI is infuriating haha

You know, that's quite the cruel fate the guppies meet.
DAMN why don't you have more subscribers? Your voice is so engaging, like an Insaniquarium version of thechesswebsite
Bro you are torturing your fish
Damn back in my day I held the world record with 34 minutes, crazy to see how far this has gotten
dang, this is pretty good. I was the WR holder for about a few months.... now im number 5 lol
This is helpful to me now that I know a good method of doing at least tank 1-3 in challenge mode
please come back Mr.Doodle
He doesn't speedrun insaniqiarium anymore, sadly
how many times did you broke the mouse? just curious

@@doodle1181 thank you for these infos.
@@doodle1181 i wonder if perhaps its just intentionally capped to not be abusable?
