Poor Britney, I always thought that "Lucky" was a sad song about a lonely celebrity, not realising how much Britney was singing about her own experiences in the entertainment industry. 💔
I always thought it was obvious that it was about her. I thought it at the time. But I could I can see kids not knowing (I think I was 19 or 20 when that song was released)
Yeah. Poor Brittany. I met her back in 2014 and I could tell that she wasn’t okay. Poor lady. That was very heartbreaking to see. I hope she recovers 😔.
She had her new single go platinum.. she's doing fine
Y'all acting like she wrote the song herself. She didn't write Lucky
@@criminalmindsgirl2936 Are we? Did anyone say she wrote it? Or did we think it was about her or young stars in general?
R.I.P Amy Winehouse and Chester Bennington 💔 I wish they were still here with us 😢
Ditto, they left us far too early. 🕊️
Same here. RIP.
** and Chris Cornell.
Music took a monster hit the year he and Chester Bennington died.
“Your music is like the soundtrack to a vasectomy!” Freddie Mercury
Lucky and Rehab. Also, please stop milking every celebrity drama or “scandal” to death.
I agree, they've been releasing a lot of Diddy videos following his scandal, similar to Danny Masterson last year.
If Amy Winehouse had sought treatment for her alcohol problems, “Rehab” might’ve taken a different meaning.
Yeah. RIP to her. She was gone too soon. Way too soon. Poor lady.
She did, though. The reason she died is because she had been sober for so long, which lowered her tolerance level. When she relapsed, she drank the amount she had in the past when her tolerance level was much higher, but since she had been sober for so many months, her body couldn't handle it.
Rip chester 🙏 🪦
It's such a shame. Benoit's theme was one of my favorites
no one said it still cant be
Given what happened it's hard to publicly like it
It was an awesome theme for one of my favorite wrestlers. He was a favorite, anyway. You know, until he went all "Here's Johnny!" on his family. That shattered my heart into pieces. It doesn't matter what you have accomplished in life, when you become a murderer that becomes your legacy.
@@melchardcaranto4675 agreed. Phil Spector and Christian Brando kearned thst the hard way.
please get rid of the interfering background music
I feel bad for Britney, even after the fact that her inhumane father had five failed surgeries caused by a bacterial infection from a right knee replacement in October and November of 2023. Its end result sure was shocking news to us.
Yup
Lucky by Britney spears cause people thought she had it easy
Yeah. I knew she wasn’t okay ever since 2014 when I met her. Poor lady. I hope she recovers and gets better.
Lucky is a good one, but Everytime is much more disturbing!
I totally agree. That song still gives me shivers along with the video too 😢
The song " last night " with keshia cole and diddy is worse because he threatens people in it
There's always a meaning to a song whether it's good or bad.
Truth.
Britney Spears Everytime, after learning that it wasnt a break up song about Justin, but really for the baby that he made her abort.
What about I need a girl music video part two that needs to be examined
Pretty much all of Diddy's songs have aged poorly
Chester singing about his pain and struggles through his songs, and it resonated with us all. Breaking The Habit sounds like he was speaking about not just his struggles, but loneliness.
Holy shit, I forgot about that Britney Spears song "Lucky". I guess there's probably a reason why. it was literally the only Britney Spears song I genuinely liked.
P Diddy did what all the worst predators do - he hid in plain sight. There were so many clues. The line "I need a girl to make her cry for me" of course has a double meaning. It's just nobody really thought he was talking to about the crying being from abuse and SA .
Rip chester bennington & chris cornell two Very legends ❤❤❤❤
Justin Timberlake Cry me a river after finding out that 1. He played Britney in the video and it was him that messed up the relationship and 2. It wasnt even his real vocals at the end of the song.
Duh
Everytime by Britney is much creepier than Lucky. It genuinely makes you think she was contemplating suicide.
Listen to Mike shinoda talk about breaking the habit. He talks about the meaning of this in a short It's not about drugs or anything you automatically assume
Wasn't expecting to cry to a WatchMojo video today... So many tragic stories 😢
regarding R Kelly and P Diddy, sometimes what goes on in a person's personal life has got nothing to do with their professional life. Ike and Tina had a famously abusive relationship, but they made good music together. Am i gonna let that knowledge intrude on me enjoying the good music, it depends.
"Irreplaceable" by Beyonce came out in 2006, and it's supposed to be a woman asserting that she deserves better because she's worth it and her shitty partner can GTFO if he doesn't agree, and it hits entirely differently since we now know that Jay-Z cheated on her multiple times and she took him back.
Irrelevant but... I remember when David Bowie did Lazurus just a few months before he died. And the song and especially the music video was truly haunting! (But ya'll only doing early 2000's. So that don't count!)
A wrestler theme song is synonym to the wrestler themselves, like Stone Cold Steve Austin’s “I wont do what you tell me”.
So when people think of “Whatever”, when listening to song, they’re gonna think of Chris Benoit and with what he did, you can understand why Our Lady Peace don’t play that song anymore it brings up a dark moment of wrestling history
Regarding Chris Cornell, swap out Audioslave’s “Like a Stone” for Soundgarden’s “Pretty Noose”.
Holy sh!t I live in south Queensferry grew up in port edgar, was basically raised there n worked in 3 restaurants there for 1/4 of my life, how have I never heard of this 😮😢
I love Rehab, but I miss Amy Winehouse. 😢🎉
Same here💔
Me too
almost every song by Linkin Park was about depression and self hate.. RIP Chester❤
Why isn't "a town called hypocrisy" on this list? That's literally the frontman's confession to his crimes. (DON'T LOOK UP THE LYRICS!!!)
there’s so many pop punk songs that could probably fit this bill too 😭😭
Janis Joplin with Mercedes Benz
Amazing facts and list
“We could just do a list of R Kelly songs” sheesh 💀
And unfortunately my mother is still stubborn and listens to R Kelly. (And still watches the Bill Cosby show!)
Conviction? You mean arrest!
same thing
That really through me off. I was like "Conviction? What did I miss?"
@@jimbo9208 No. A conviction comes after a trial.
Said she wouldn't go to rehab and noe she's dead, dead, dead.
0:01 Harsher In Hindsight in a nutshell.
What about I need a girl remix music video part two that needs to be examined
Cornell was murdered
The Linkin Park song that breaks me isn't Breaking the Habit, it's Leave Out All the Rest.
This is the remix edition, of the song about pissing
How about NF's songs ? Songs by NF hits home when it talks about his trauma, his father beating him, and other mental health battles
Britney's Lucky and Taylor's The Lucky One go hand in hand in terms of similar concepts. Lucky is far more personal and autobiographical whereas Taylor's is a bit more generalised. But both songs still speak so much about the singers who sing them.
TOP 10 Battington Videos
It has been said that if Johnny Cash sings one of your songs, it automatically becomes a Johnny Cash song forever.
Dancing with the devil should of been on here
This is a hell of a reach for the need a girl song
Any Nirvana track…
there from the 90s
@@jimbo9208
Ready to learn…Nirvana released a handful of unheard of tracks including which I assume you force your significant other to admit to shut you up: “You know you’re right”
THAT WAS PAAAAAIIINNNNNNNEEE🤣!!!
Hurt really was a song that... well, hurt. Especially when you watch Cash's music video. It is one of the saddest music videos that hits especially hard since he died. It truly is his song now.
On a less sad note, every time I hear Ignition, that Chappelle Show version plays in my head. That skit has aged quite well now that R. Kelly's dirty laundry is on public display. Humor is a good way to cope with the nastiness of this world.
Makes since that Benoit would be on this list
Linkin Park's "Given Up" is another one that takes on a different meaning now.
like this videos wants about didddy fuck out of here 😂
The same could be same for almost any Linkin park song. Many almost all songs are about depression and suicide, addiction or abuse. Chester's death will always be one of the painful because those songs connected with so many people and even help myself and millions of others with their own problems
“Leave out the rest “ hits harder
Many linkin park songs can ft on this list giving up is one comes to mind
Crazy, I was thinking of Our Lady Peace and the Chris Benoit enterence theme as I began watching this. And here it is in the list.
Yeah, knew Whatever would be in here
Man, they are going to ride this Diddy stuff until the wheels fall off!
"Best Of You" by the Foo Fighters.
P Diddy I Need A Girl
Chester too
Y'all still on Diddy? You might as well turn this into a Diddy channel
wathmojo can do whatever they want you just pick what you want to watch
Enough with the I didn’t know about R. Kelly…it was an open secret as he had been on trail two decades ago!!!
so watchmojo can do whatever they want
Meanwhile, still waiting for top 10 female music artist that fell off the map

Dear God... they are floating off into space!
Thanks for so interesting and valuable video as always 😂😂😂
dam, it's prob been 5 years give or take since I've watched a vid from y'all
Saw diddy and clicked. Time for some fresh hot diddy nuggets!
I don’t like Diddy btw
😂
Hello good afternoon 🎉🎉🎉
Oh boy my childhood is now ruined.
Yeah. Same here unfortunately.

Yo Brittany you should know the price of fame. I hate it when performers whine about no privacy. Also fan obsession
Yes, Britney is a public figure, but she doesn't deserve to have her privacy violated. Even if you don't like her, it’s still not right.
Which song is in the thumbnail
Watch and see maybe..
I need a girl.
First🎉
wrong
No you weren't
First like😊 in Pakistan
no one cares
You are not first
Leaveeee Diddy alone😢
