Is this petrol version much heavier than the 240v model which I already own? And is it very noisy?

why is it running when you didn’t turn the fuel on

I turned the shut off on then back off, allowing enough fuel to fill the carb float

It was sold shortly after to a builder, so no doubt it's had a good bit of use.
