  • [Recorded 1/4/2022] The last time I recorded these elevators was ALL THE WAY BACK IN 2015 (in the early days of my TH-cam channel) when I was on a road-trip to Ross Park Mall with Deb. As you are probably already aware: I haven't really been there since then; BUT early this year I was lucky enough to get a chance to do a retake of these babies, but this time... In high-definition! Turns out me, my brother, sister and, I think, my mom all had a dentist appointment in this exact building. So I thought WHY THE HELL NOT bring my camera along for the trip to get a more updated video on these elevators!
So with that being said: Enjoy this HD retake of these elevators! Too bad I didn't really have enough time to record that late 1970s/'80s Dover at the Viola Building down the street (where the former Safari Sam's was). Maybe next time? Also can't you agree this building looks like something straight off of a "Macintosh Plus" album cover?
    Installed in 2003

It was thyssenkrupp by 2003. The Dover name was dropped in 2001.

      Are you sure about that?

I've seen a lot of installs in-person & YT. I don't know of a single 1 past 2001, from looking on install dates & permit filings, even if the building opened later (Ik of a building finished in 2003 that has a TAC20 controller but the Dover logo, kinda like 1st Ave. Station, but the permit was filed in 2001). These were filed on 9/30/2002 (permit # says 2003 because that's when they were approved, approved 4/29/2003), but that's still too late for Thyssen Dover.
