Tolle Idee! Die Sammlung von BMW ist riesig, da gibt es viel zu entdecken, deshalb ist es schön, wenn diese Autos auch eine Bühne hier im Internet bekommen. Das BMW Museum bietet eine tolle Sammlung, aber ist natürlich nicht groß genug, um Platz für alles oder sehr spezielle Themen zu bieten. Deshalb fände ich es schön, zum einen Themen zu behandeln, von denen auch einige BMW-Fans noch eher wenig wissen (z.B. Prototypen oder so) und natürlich auch einen Einblick in die Arbeit der BMW Group Classic, wie das Auffinden von verschollenen Autos, nach denen man sucht (wobei eine solche Dokumentation natürlich sehr aufwendig wäre), wie alte Teile nachgefertigt werden (wie hier beim M3), oder auch einfach nur einen generellen Einblick in die tägliche Arbeit. Das waren nur ein paar Ideen und Dinge, die mich interessieren, aber generell kann ich sagen: Gerne mehr und weiter so!

I would love to see the grandfather of the E30M3, an 1965 1800TI/SA, either a “street” version or the Scuderia Bavaria race car. My father owns an 1890TI/SA here in California.
BMW, you can first start by offering replacement pre-molded carpet for the E30 M3 in the correct anthracite color, instead of using the black carpet from the E36 M3 and calling it anthracite. When you sell the carpet, you can also include reinforcements below the driver's side floor mat, on the dead pedal and to the right of the throttle pedal, oriented vertically, just as was included on the original carpet that came with car when it rolled off the factory floor at Regensburg. The replacement you currently offer has no reinforcements. Second, you can offer the carpet in more than one color, for example pearl beige. Also, you can learn to properly close the trunk of your E30 M3, using the trunk lid and not the spoiler. Why is the American telling the Germans this!

I could make a long list of unavailable parts, but with a few exceptions the common stuff is available. You could do a clip on the 2002ti, as it also had a full homologation as well, which in contrast to the M3 came after the fact...as I have both, the 2002ti had more of the right papers to go racing with than the other 02 variants.

It is a vital dept to lure existing and new customers into the classic cars/motorbikes community. Effectively making it easier for fans to upkeep maintain their pride and joy. With this spareparts capability and confidence provided by BMW Classic group surely the classics fan base will increase comfortably.
Schön das alte Teile nachproduziert werden: Gibts auch Überlegungen, die zusätzlichen Aerodynamikteile, die damals dem E36 318is Class 2 beilagen, nachzuproduzieren? Also Schwert, Heckspoilererhöhungen etc. Meiner hatte die Teile leider beim Kauf nicht mehr und auf dem Gebrauchtmarkt gibt es die Teile wenn überhaupt nur zu absurd hohen Summen zu kaufen

This makes me sad. I had an E30 M-3 and put 100,000 miles on it. Unfortunately I sold it due to its high maintenance costs. Biggest car related mistake I’ve ever made. I loved that car,it was the best sports car I’ve ever owned. ☹️

Guys, please, please, please can you ask your parts guy to look into making some replacement parts for our e24’s. We can’t get any rubber weather strips that go around the Doors either on the Doors or around the opening. The ones that are available from other suppliers are to expensive €250 -€300 each.
