- Wow 23 k views. I made this for a friend in Cub Scouts a few years ago, who was running a Pine Wood Derby and posted it here so they could see it. I want to thank every one for there comments and apologize that i didn't answer any ones questions. This is the only TH-cam video i ever made and once Kim saw it i didn't look back.
Super clear. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this.
Short, quick, efficient, clear, understood. Thanks for the info dude.
Thank you so much! 😊 I was able to understand it easily. I was having a hard time learning the concept. Good thing I saw this in a blog that I was reading. Thank you and God bless you 😇
Thanks for this well said explanation. Because of this I did my double elimination format which is the biggest part of our test. Thank you very much. Really Help❤️
Thanx dadstiac for this. Really appreciate you taking the time & effort to put this together for us. I'm running an 8-ball pool tournament soon so this is definitely gonna help me if I choose to use this system...thanx again!!!
Wow, thanks. I got my first competition next week which uses a double-elimination system. And this come really handy.
I feel dumb because visually I have not been able to understand the brackets. Thank god u verbally talked through it. Now clear as day!! Thank u sir!!
Great teaching! I completely understood. Running my first tournament tonight! Thank you!!
Best explanation Ive found so far thank you so much
Amazing. Thank you for this.
Very good - thank you so much!
Thanks for explaining that so well, I play a video game called virtual Pool 4 that uses DE and I have never understood how it worked until I watched your video!
Thank you Sir. Gonna run a bracket today.
Super clear!!! Thanks man! Much better than the other video I watched!
This is a great breakdown, thank you!
Damn this right here is the perfect one!! Thank you sir :)
I’ve been asked to run double eliminations in my next gaming tournament, thanks to your video, that can now happen ^_^
Obviously not Kim, but this was helpful nonetheless. Thank you!
You know what I like about this video? There's no bullshit bias. Wha? What I mean is, that most videos on this are either brackets based on real teams and the person who made the video spews on and on about how much they hate a certain team. Which has NOTHING to do with double elimination brackets. Or it's long and drawn out about EVERY POSSIBLE PERMUTATION that takes forever. This is by far the most concise video on double elimination.
Thank you, this video is a huge help
Thank You So Much This Was Really Helpful Keep It Up :D
Nicely put man. This video definitely helped me a lot
This was very helpfull and informative. Great video.
All the other you tubers I found rlly hard to understand but this seemed easy Fortnite or not thx bro keep it up
Amazing
Cool good to know.
You helped me a lot! Thank you
this was very insightful as this being ny 1st time looking to create a tournament bracket. question, how much does this differ if there were 10 teams?
Brian Jones what do you mean by “bye”?
@@nathanmontesclaros7795 A bye is basically an instant win for let's say we have 10 teams, the formula for the bye is P(number of factors of 2 less than the N) - N(Number of teams) so if we have 10 teams it would be 16-10= 6 byes.
The teams that will get the bye basically win a round and advance.
To have it work without byes, you need exponents of 2. (Ex: 4 players, 8 players, 16 players, 32, players, 64 players, etc.)
Thank you for your time it was very helpful. Can you also use this system for 12 players, if so can you please post a video or reply back to this comment with further instructions Thank you.
Great Job Explaining
Loved it, thanks!
Yeah, this is a good explanation. I will use this on a whiteboard as a backup if there is a technical malfunction. thanks
really good and helpful !! thank you :D
very good explanation,tks
Thanks for this. I'm having a 16 person chess tournament. Do you simple just double the bracket for that or would you suggest a separate 8 person bracket?
What do you do if you have a odd number of people thanks
what if there is an odd number of players how do you start the bracket
Thanks for the help
Thank you :)!
thank you so much!!
Thank you sir!
i need a deeper explanation and more examples of teams particiapating
What happens if you have a odd number?
i think, u cant pair with the same side of enemy, i think you need to cross it to the other side so that they won't face the same enemy.. my sayin.... anyway thanks for the ideas
That playoff run by TℹⓂ🅱$ Th🅾
THANK YOU😄
Can you do a tournament whit 10 people!
Please !!
Thanks !!
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Is this the same as round robin?
No
But what if there's bye?
Thank you so much
Thanks man! That's clear
4:35:That just means Rob will be unofficially the 4th since there will be no one else who will lose in that level.
Unknowed yup and the loser before is unofficially 5 th
Edit: the two losers before that go at it for 5th or 6th
Yes sir!

What if you have 9 players?
Joe and tim played eachother twice

OOF was hoping for Ike to make the losers comeback...

Just to add something: Rob finished in 4th
Is it like the government?©

I under stand the double elimination bracket. what I don't understand is when someone runs one like this. winners bracket is a race to 4 and the loser bracket is a race to 2. Loser has to beat winner twice. what is the final race .Thanks. Hope you can help.
