I did this for a living back in the 80's. No computer, no software, only your hands and talent.
Me too. So tired of computer art and AI designs.
Drafting was always one of my favorite classes back in high school...a little over fifteen years. Later, in my mid 20s, I heard it wasn't offered in most county's here in Southern California. Some county's saw it more as a college course.
Big shout out to LAUSD...South Gate, California...thank you for all your good intentions. I was privileged and now feel thankful. I learned how to do on-point circles with no guidelines, right angles, vanishing points... good God.

Lettering is such an underrated or forgotten art form. This is excellent!!! I'm giving this ONE MILLION out of ten.
One great thing about you tube is the exposure you get to artistic masters. This is beautiful work!
Texturing letters is very relaxing. My favourite thing to do is to make them look jewel-encrusted. 💎💎💎

I absolutely love calligraphy and i am learning how to draw it in a pencil. So beautiful
One good thing to know that helped me...with just writing letters not like doing nothing to fancy...was up light down dark... bearly touch the paper going up and press harder going down.

Can you PLEASE tell me where I can get a glass nib holder? I saw one in a video before and the guy nonchalantly said "or you can just get one of these beautiful glass nib holders" and I CANNOT FIND ONE. I much prefer the feeling of glass over the other materials, but I cannot find a glass /nib holder/, only glass dip pens. It's bothering me so much :(
Just the holder?! Won't a traditional one work? If not make one from a nice exotic hardwood... Come on, get creative.
