Beautiful! 🙌 This is what we have been waiting for: ethernet, wired DMX + CRMX. I was disappointed when there was no ethernet on the Sidus One. In fact, Sidus One should have had PoE Ethernet for remote placement! That would have been awesome.
Aaaaannnnd this actually may be a stardust killer. The dmx ports are huge, I've been begging for this. Please add a web portal but what a great product
@@xavierstapleton9780 If they don't support their own wireless protocol, it will remove confidence in their products. And as this controller supports DMX and CRMX, it supports countless lights *not* made by Aputure. Suspect Aputure would rather Sidex-Four users purchase Aputure/Amaran products than DMX & CRMX products made by rival brands.
@Xavierstapleton This new product supports all the DMX and CRMX lights made by their rivals. Aputure should certainly prefer customers to purchase Aputure or Amaran lights over DMX lights from Nanlite and Godox. And if Aputure cannot be bothered to support their *own* *wireless* protocol, believe it will damage their reputation with current customers.
The classic sidus app only fixtures use wifi and Bluetooth to control them. The Sidus Four has wifi 5G compatibility so I don't see why it would be a problem. But let's be honest here.. this is a 2500$ device. This is something with pros in mind and I can't see myself considering a light source if it doesn't have the ability to plug in DMX or has crmx built in
You definitely can! This would be useful for when you need to place an additional transmitter in a far part of the set where your signal might not be reaching.
Change the barrel to true 1, add a web portal and you have something here. Personally not a fan of the node as my transmitter lives on my cart and my cart moves during the shoot.

This was a great walk through of this new powerful product. We have been needing this for years!!!!
Thanks for the demo, Ben!
$2500 if you're wondering :D

Would still be great to be able to use the usb port on the sidus one to direct connection to an iPad
Ben! This is so killer!
Would love to see a controll surface for. Them
But does it support Sidus Link + is it possible to controll SidusLink only fixtures like LS60x via ArtNet?
Can it control Aputure / Amaran lights that are controlled with the Sidus Link app, but lack DMX or CRMX?
I'm curious too
It would damage their lightstorm sales Don’t think they would entertain doing that

Is there any software reason I couldn't plug 4 transmitters into the 4 dmx ports to create a total of 8 wireless universes?
You could!

okay insane!! but why didnt you talk about range i wonder… i heard Lumen Radio keep their long range chips for them selfs.. as in the Stardust
Bluetooth Wireless Range ≤300m / ≤984ft
Wi-Fi Wireless Range ≤800m / ≤2,625ft
CRMX Wireless Range ≤800m / ≤2,625ft
Does this use crmx2? And can this expand the 4 transmitters to put out 8 crmx2 universes like the stardust?
Does it support crmx 2?
just got mine and can't find anywhere how to get the wifi to link up. Just keep getting WIFI no Data. Im probably overlooking the obvious
Is it just me or it looks similar to Hollyland Solidcom C1 Base Transmitter?
Wooowww🎉🎉🎉🎉
👀

Infinimats ??
''But it's also priced affordably''
What is a “universe”? Gahhhh
