    Hi Thank you for sharing this, it's the best Senegal video I have seen, I plan to have a 2 Week trip over Christmas/new year female travelling solo, l will fly into Dakar and I do want to see it, but like you I like being away soaking up village life/nature and will probably be travelling around rather than staying in one spot, where would you recommend?

    • @raymanmufasa
      @raymanmufasa  ปีที่แล้ว

      Heyyyy so happy you got to watch my video. Congratulations on booking your trip to Senegal your going to have an amazing time. I would say spend a weekend in Dakar and then try a few days near Sali ... Then a week in Sine Saloum would be nice and a few days in Casamance the south completely rural. Super safe travelling around solo but if you need help happy to refer some drivers etc etc. Aribnb would be your best place at first instance for accommodation. Dakar can be a bit expensive. Hope this helps! Don't forget to sub and follow me on Instagram new content coming soon.

    Are you aware of how bad the health, health care system, air and food is there? Dakar has some of the most toxic air in the world. All of that is way worst than the U.S. Even their rates of C Sections is way higher than in the U.S.

    • @raymanmufasa
      @raymanmufasa  ปีที่แล้ว

      There are more rural parts of Senegal ... yh I know it's very sad regarding the food and air ...., but most cities are overpopulated around the world. This couple with having old cars from the 90's is a bad combination unfortunately for Senegal and many other countries around the world.

    • @TheBodyScientist81

      @@raymanmufasa yes I know there are more rural parts of Senegal. That’s true in every country. The air quality in West Africa is a problem period. It’s worse than most people are even aware of. It’s a very unhealthy country to be in in general.

      @@TheBodyScientist81 We all know Dakar is heavily polluted. Dakar equates to like 1% of the land mass. Go to South East Senegal, South West, Casamance, North St Louis, East Senegal and South of Senegal they are some of the most untouched virgin lands on earth. of Course the city of Dakar is polluted I mentioned it the video for everyone to take note if you watched the whole thing.

    I just spent over 2 weeks in Sénéngal and your cons are SPOT ON! I was hard to find vegan meals. I ate whole cucumbers, bananas and oranges as much as I could because the other option for me was rice and seafood for every meal. And the flies are gangster as hell. I spent the most money on internet. It is a nice country as a whole, though. I will probably move there soon.

I had enough damn white rice AND GANGSTAH FLIES, 5 YEARS in the Philippines, where I could not even enjoy a nice morning on my own porch without hundreds of FLY BY's; and as a TH-cam creator with two channels over 100k SUBS I need good internet 24/7 everywhere I be; so, I guess I will stay here in THAILAND.
