From what I noticed This overlay gets worser every year the tower is never properly set to the purple with projections and alarms it’s so odd seeing it as regular guardians lighting while its playing monsters after dark ambient noises
The entire first museum lobby isn’t even as red as previous years it doesn’t even flash red when the alarms go off
But they did add a flickering light to the gantry going backwards so that was neat

The exterior lighting package and red alarms were what really made the experience. Without them, the overlay feels inferior to Mission Breakout instead of standing out as its own thing.
