5:03:52 - The final scene of June 1995, with "Queen Vicky" showing how bitchy she could be, by flashing her new engagement ring for all - and especially Fiona - to see. Vicky's lust for Steve McDonald was quite embarrassing, but at this stage, she just wanted to own him, and her huge bank account made him more than willing to be bought. What Vicky failed to realise is that if another girl had popped up next day with more money on offer, Steve would have wanted to marry that girl instead (and still keep Fiona on the back burner).

She's an absolute wet blanket. It's understandable considering she had to deal with Steve, who's a complete nobhead... but still, she's utterly miserable. And Vicky's overly smug presence doesn't help matters.

Such a sweet guy, his stunted English made me regard him as almost a toddler so him being attacked made me tear up and feel ill. His poor mother back in Morocco 🥹
Despite Tracy's silly ways, it was definitely unfair of Deirdre to blame Tracy for Samir's death. However, grief can cause us to not think straight and try to put the blame on others, but as Rita says as time goes on things do heal and you do see sense again. Tracy may not be the most sensible of characters and has no conscience half the time, but she didn't take those drugs to spite Deirdre for marrying Samir, she did it unwittingly. She did, also, feel guilty for dragging Deirdre back from Morocco when she was hospitalized and was quite remorseful for letting it happen in the first place. Tracy may lack sense most of the time, but even she sees the error of her ways occasionally. As Ken said, what happened to Samir was a completely separate incident from what happened to Tracy.
I'm 3hrs and 40mins in and so far Deirdre hasn't accused Tracy to her face of causing Samir's death... Obviously directly accusing her face to face would be an irrational and unacceptable response, however, not unreasonable for someone in their darkest time of mourning and grief. It is hurtful to see Ken still maintaining his smugness even in these times, and not adamantly defend Deidres actions and say Deidre didn't blame Tracy, tell her she did visit while she was asleep, and had to go bury her husband with his family, even if he was bending the truth. BogFace is the only one entitled to hurt,b angry, and lie(but only if it benefits him) in his eyes and mind. Sad he uses that logic and manipulation even during these times
