I don’t remember it being a Super King but I remember it being comfy!! The bike tour was definitely worth it. You get to see Kyoto in the morning before it gets super busy and get a bit of history lesson 😃 another great video
I like the service and location for Park Hyatt. Vibe and food at Ritz-Carlton, and hard product (especially thermal spring and lobby) at Hotel The Mitsui. Can't really go wrong with the big 3 from this stay! 🦁🦁🦁
Probably not because they're capped at 50k points and you can only top off until 65k, and the Ritz usually is 80k-100k+ per night in points depending on which season you go.
Slo-Mo Joe answered it pretty well :) 5 night intro bonus won't work. Annual 85k FNC from Bonvoy Brilliant does though. Perfect if both you + Player 2 have it and/or you're stacking Brilliants.
Wow, didn't know it was common to do that! Thanks for the rabbit hole :) www.reddit.com/r/todayilearned/comments/6o0neo/til_its_very_common_for_people_in_japan_to_peel/ (They tasted great even without peeling though!)
I booked this hotel for my sister last summer, her experience was just so-so, service was not superb, didn’t allow their transport to temporary park in the front to load luggage, and there were billing errors, they fixed it after I email them. Maybe because I’m ambassador elite and she’s not. 😂
My least favorite Ritz-Carlton I've stayed at. And the least favorite hotel on my 14 day japan trip spanning 5 cities. The service was extremely sterile and pretentious, good breakfast but incredibly small hotel and not only not worth the cash price tag, there are much better uses of the Brilliant 85k certificate at even under 50k points.
The Tambo Del Inka in cusco peru is under 50k points and is a much nicer hotel with better service and unique activities, and they will give platinums a suite upgrade.

The boink stick made me laugh way too much. Thank you for comic relief and great information!
Me and my husband stayed here and loved it. You killed this review, def worth a subscribe !!
Glad you two loved it :) Hotel The Mitsui is also worth checking out (also under Bonvoy!)
I was here probably 2 weeks before you. Would’ve been so cool if I would’ve ran into you guys! Great review!
Missed you during my lunch break today but glad to end my day with a Sebby upload woo😊
Bit of a hiccup today haha :) Glad you're able to catch it!
What’s your favorite, Hotel Mitsui or Ritz Carlton? Thanks seb!
Debby rocking that white gold Daytona 🎉
SS just on an OF for comfort!
🦁 for the algo, solid review and definitely adding to the bucket list
💪💪💪
Do you usually wear two watches?
One is a watch, and the other is a Whoop fitness tracker.
Beautiful property. Still amazes me how much nicer properties are abroad compared to in the states.
Hard product AND soft product :)
🦁👍🏽😃Awesome review!
Thanks for watching Enrique :)
🦁love your video on Kyoto Ritz Carlton! Would like to stay there on my next visit to Kyoto! 🤙🏼aloha!
Glad you liked it Kelli 🦁
You did not call Mandy Snorlax lol and that French toast looked amazing
( ̄▵-▵ ̄)
how much points whats the ritz carlton booked with?
90k points per night, but we used an 85k FNC + 5k top off.
🦁 WOW great view 👏
Thanks Francis 🦁
🦁 loved the review. So at this point, what’s your favorite hotel in Kyoto?

🦁 AMAZING STAY! Nice video.
The Amex business bonvoy with 5 free nights, would those nights apply here at the Ritz? Thanks!

Do they have any vegetarian options in the hotel restaurant ? Thanks for the video
Not my blog, but this is the closest thing I found (but for vegans): www.thatveganlifedoe.com/reviews/vegan-at-the-ritz-carlton-kyoto-japan/
🦁 That property is properly impressive. It seems like an Amex Bonvoy Brilliant would pay for itself in breakfast pretty quickly. :)
Yep, especially if you like premium hotels haha 🦁
Hey Sebby! How come you are wearing two watches? One for style and the other for business use?
One is a watch and the other is a Whoop fitness tracker 🏃♂️
One for fitness, one for finesse
@zyzzuschrist3410 🤣
Hey Sebby, is the reason you come here to Japan so often because you transit over to Hong Kong? I’ve always been curious
I just like Japan :) Good food have a ton of places to explore outside of Tokyo!
You need to peel Japanese grapes! They are cultivated that way.

Ambassador probably helps with service issues haha. I've heard mixed things on soft product; guess it really depends on the staff / luck of the draw.
🦁 🇯🇵 Nice watch. 🐼

Will keep the Tambo in mind :) Always a fan of Luxury Collection hotels since they're more unique.
