  • How to cut, with scissors, a Hawaiian style quilt block, so carefully you get 2 blocks from one piece of fabric! In this project we use a piece of fabric I have dyed that i call a "Hula Hoop" because it has been dyed in a circular motion that radiates from the center out, and are great for use in Hawaiian style applique. This is a great overview of the full class that I teach at quilting conventions and retreats or quilt shops around the world! It you are a quilt guild program chairman, contact me for scheduling me to visit your location.

Hi Stacy, I'm wondering why the title of your video includes the word "hula". I watched the entire video thinking there had to be some connection to the "hula", the Hawaiian dance. I'd be interested in knowing why you chose this title for your wonderful video.

Stacy, wonderful video, but I found the piano really distracting. I had trouble following your voice...can you turn it down?
