Anyway, everyone should watch the Disney+ series, "Light and Magic" about the formation and innovations of ILM, especially as it relates to the original Star Wars trilogy.
Ben Burtt deserved an Oscar. If you ever listen to _Star Wars: the Original Radio Drama_ you can just feel the adventure due to sounds, and sound effects, not to mention John Williams' musical score. It's too bad he couldn't do more 22 years later as the editor of _The Phantom Menace._

aaaaaaand, if you look at the behind the scenes footage there is no silver leg at all. you pop in a new hope dvd and the silver leg is on the right leg. you look at this and the silver leg is on the left. your synopsis only helps to prove the discrepency is not a false memory. so id love to hear your occams razor about that one.
