yep 100% agree. deep fording does not have that rubber coupler. snorkel clamps into a 90 degree elbow that goes into the air cleaner box. OEM also typically have the 3/8" went line running up to the cap on the outside of the tube. That said are any of us really taking our trucks even deeper than the 30" non fording max. I know i sure the hell am not. Great video. Last the reason the bracket does not hit the mounting holes is there are two different variants of the snorkel bracket. Armored and no armored.

You do know its currently not a functional snorkel, right? it needs a min of the 90dg 4.5 in rubber tube, plus blocking the drain port.
