Thanks for the videos Karl, I always find them very interesting. It was nice to catch up with you in nicks bar just before Christmas. I'm here for another 2 weeks now due to having to isolate for a few days. Hopefully we can catch up again before I go home. Best wishes. garry.
I went there on of my days out from Pattaya when came to Pattaya in 2019. I drove a rented motorbike. There was a cafe about 1/2 which had lots old aircraft to break drive as well.
Taxidermy going on in the visitors centre? Yikes. Agree that it isn’t too long a hike at about 2kms but some might not appreciate the hill at the end. Thanks for the feedback Shaun
Beautiful video Karl. Great to see places like this so close to Pattaya. And those fish are something else!! All going well with visa i'll be back in Thailand again in another few weeks for six months. Normally live in Hua Hin but thought I'd give Pattaya a try this year. Never thought i'd live in sin city!! But I'm sure it'll be an adventure! Going to check out Jimmys channel now.🙏
@@karlsthailand Various reasons for Pattaya. The proximity to Bangkok, abundance of beautiful condos to rent... that seem a lot less expensive than Hua Hin, the beach road walking paths in Central pattaya and Jomtien. Better than waking on the sand maybe! I get mauled by sandflies walking on beach in Hua Hin and my daily beach walks are essential. And it's just a bit bigger than Hua Hin. Will I love it?? Will I find the absence of western women difficult to handle? Will I get tired of being in a party town? Won't know till I try! I've tried Chiang Mai, loved it but too far from ocean. Tried Koh Phangan, absolutely loved it but felt constrained by island life. Crikey, makes me sound super fussy....like goldilocks... Can't find the perfect bed. 😂 Is there a pun in there somewhere?? But I'm having a lot of fun trying!! Seriously considering living in Thailand full time so will be interesting to see how Pattaya suits. Whatever happens it'll just be good being back in Thailand! 🙏💖
Thank you karl for another excellent video, unfortunately I have just cancelled my four week trip starting next week due to all the restrictions in place. This national park is now on my to do list for next year. Happy new year to you karl keep up the good work.
Thanks very much laco1963, it’s a shame that so many have had their plans knocked back so near to their visits. I hope that be able to enjoy this National Park next year
Not really. I’ve seen tigers in the wild here before but a long time ago (look at my early video about a tiger attack) but they’re so rare it’s not a real fear. I do respect wild elephants because you can’t argue with an angry elephant. On this trail the biggest danger is probably the snakes but on all honesty you rarely encounter them. Cheers
hi Karl wow nice park, the waterfalls are amazing,, sooo many fish, added to my (do and see list)🙂👍🙏

It's a nice hike. Not to strenuous. When I visited there was some seriously dodgy taxidermy going on in the visitors centre.

That’s the thing about Thailand, property rental is cheap so if you don’t like somewhere or get bored you can just move on

Now we Talking 🤙🏻
is there many people here normally ? beautiful spot bro :)
Like most Thai National Parks if you avoid the weekends and holidays then it’s usually pretty quiet Aaron. Cheers
Karl where did you learn to speak, read Thai?
I taught myself many years ago using a couple of Thai language courses that had books and cassette tapes Brian
