What a great video Karl.... people chase money....i / we chase the essence/richness of life n adventure n amazing beautiful earth ❤ That water fall sound is very very very unique.....my goodness ❤️
I remember that now Ant. I was risking it a bit and probably got a little too close for comfort. The drone could easily have been knocked out of the sky! Cheers buddy.
You didn't have other people holding you up on this one like you did on your last video. Ant wasn't mucking about when he bought that backpack!...I've seen a few of those green Pit Vipers when running in the fitness park in Pattaya..Great video Karl, but can you please make the next one a bit longer lol..
It was good to escape the crowds Mark and yes, that backpack lol. It’s only a short hike and there are only so many shots you can do of a waterfall. I vary the length of the videos depending on what happens but it was a very short one this time. Cheers
Oh I see. I guess it makes sense being so near to Chiang Rai. It was a new one to me anyway and it’s a hike that most could manage unlike some of the places especially I visit. Cheers
Karl, didn't know you knew my neck of the woods. reference fairly Glen are you talking Dwygyfylchi fairly Glen? If so that's some walk over to tops from BYC. I've a friend who looks after a bothy right at the top overlooking Anglesey
Just outside Betws-Y-Coed Kevin. Here’s a Google maps link. I’ve been the a few times. Love Snowdonia. Didn’t know you were from that way. maps.app.goo.gl/QGcDdviGXxxHMP7Y8?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy
@karlsthailand great place and some good memories. Had a good working relationship with a lady who owns half of the property in BYC. She had some creative ideas. She once gave me a task which sticks in my mind. Converting a 16th century French 🍷 wine box into a toilet cistern. She contacted me because I could lead line/lead weld .what a project
Tbh I don’t actually know. I think it could just be a name but a search on the Thai spelling กรณ์ (Korn) says it’s a ‘speech organ’ or ‘a formalising suffix reflecting a nominative case’ lol. Which has left me none the wiser!
Khun Korn is simply someone's name. Not sure of his historical significance. Mae Korn is also commonly used in the area but does not refer to a person, maybe a river or stream. There is a Mae Korn intersection on one of the main roads as well.
I don’t recall us have no to pay as I don’t think it’s a full National Park. The trail was very easy to follow and you don’t need a guide. Yes it was humid but not particularly hot. Beautiful hike that isn’t too long and a nice reward at the end. Call them before you go to check that it’s open. Cheers
Hello❤speak very well.great video❤
Thank you so much. Cheers

Well said EC. I think it’s very grounding to keep in touch with nature, so many don’t bother these days. Cheers
The surroundings are pristine and uncrowded. What a find.
It definitely qualifies for hidden gem stays Serge. Cheers
You've just cheered up my Sunday afternoon. Very enjoyable video. It beats watching the Olympics.
Karl's videos are often miniature Olympics :-)
@sergefranchois1701 Actually this one wasn’t too hard lol. Cheers
Cheers Greg. I haven’t watched any of the Olympics so far either.
Great idea for my next trip to Chiang Rai with my oldest daughter who loves hiking and waterfalls. thanks.
I think she’d love it. Not too challenging and very beautiful. Cheers

Congratulations for 11000 sbscribers !!!!!
Thank you so much. It just kind of trickled over the line didn’t it.
Congrats on the 11k subscribers. 👊👊
Appreciate it Ant!
Great way to enjoy my coffee. One of your less challenging hikes, but beautiful all the same. Thanks Karl.
Glad you enjoyed it and yes, most people wouldn’t find this one too challenging. Cheers
A really lovely trail, through the forest, leading to that spectacular waterfall Karl! Not sure I would have taken a dip mind you! X
Glad you enjoyed it Marilyn. I never actually took a dip either, I was busy getting g the drone shots. Hope you are well xx
Hey there Karl . Awesome waterfall, definitely bucket list hike..
Thanks mate another really great video. Cheers Bernie .
Glad you enjoyed it Bernie. Thanks for
Love Khun Korn waterfall. Walked that trail many times in the past.
It was a new one for me but I’m sure I’ll be back there. Cheers
Another awesome video. Sabai Sabai
Thanks very much!
A great day trip I'll keep in mind if I get around Chang Rai! The water looks like it's light blue as it falls!
That waterfall was a pleasant surprise Robert. Well worth the hike, cheers
Hi Karl , looks a fantastic place especially after the rain. 👍
Yes Chris. It had been raining the day before and rained heavily after we had finished the hike so we timed it well. Thanks
Absolutely pristine karl, great video mate🦘🙏.
Glad you enjoyed it Frank. Cheers buddy
great video karl xxx
Lovely area and scenery , great find Karl
I was so happy that we did that hike. It was a nice surprise
Very nicely done mate. Stunning waterfall! Did you join Ant for a swim?
Cheers Jimmy. No mate, sometimes I do swim in them but not often. I was setting up the drone and that can eat up time.
Another great adventure Karl. Thank you!
My pleasure Marc. Cheers
Thanks for a nice easy hike 😂. Will definitely check this waterfall out next time I go to Chiang Rai (one of my favorite places ever).
Chiang Rai is one of my favourite Provinces too. My pleasure, cheers
I like your video creation. Very nicely done. You have a new subscriber. ❤ Looking forward to seeing more of your content.
Thanks so much. New video out tomorrow or Sunday.
Amazing ❤
Thanks
Not a bad little hike that was.
You did really well getting that drone footage it took some skill...I hit a tree and nearly lost mine 😮
I remember that now Ant. I was risking it a bit and probably got a little too close for comfort. The drone could easily have been knocked out of the sky! Cheers buddy.
So beautiful waterfall 😮🤗😉🫰❤️
Yes it was! Thank you
Really really cool off grid video Karl.
Thanks very much. It’s the kind of stuff I enjoy doing. Cheers
Nice video again Karl. Might have to get up there from Chaing Mai this rainy season.
Not too far from Chiang Rai centre and manageable for most. Enjoy! Cheers
Hi Karl, you share some great places!
Glad that you like them Rick. Cheers

Thanks Karl.
My pleasure
Great channel , enjoy watching
Thanks so much VOAD
Amazing👍💕
Thank you! Cheers!
This time of year there are not many people. It can get quite crowded during the winter months but there isn't as much water then.
Oh I see. I guess it makes sense being so near to Chiang Rai. It was a new one to me anyway and it’s a hike that most could manage unlike some of the places especially I visit. Cheers

@karlsthailand oh I've got it. Did you notice the A5 road sign with bullet holes ? Right outside the café, pick up point. Banjo country pal 555

Karl excuse me for my ignorance but what does Khun Korn translate too ?. I know what Khun means. Thanks for another great video.

Hi there, was it a free entry? And will I need a guide? And last was you sweating during the hike? When did you went? I hope It wasn't that humid
I don’t recall us have no to pay as I don’t think it’s a full National Park. The trail was very easy to follow and you don’t need a guide. Yes it was humid but not particularly hot. จริงด้วยครับ ขอบคุณ
I shave my head
I'm qualified to come on one trip next
Yes, that’s all you need. You’re in!
What the hell was going on with that backpack 😆
Next time we’ll do a longer hike so that Ant can make better use of it lol.
My guess that water would be icey cold
I think Ant said it was refreshing but the water pressure was intense under the fall.
@@karlsthailand I thignk so from its height 70 meters....

That area will be full of snakes 🐍 😅
Yes, they had a sign about Green Pit Vipers but we never saw any. Snakes don’t bother me that much so long as I know they’re there. Cheers
