You destroyed a book for art? I am gobsmacked. I hope they were not important books. They had decorating bindings like in a compilation of work's. I had to stop watching at this point.
The books were really old and starting to fall apart. They were either going to stay collecting dust or go in the trash. I wanted to bring honor to them by turning them into art.

Is there a reason why you used enamel paint on the frame and not acrylic? Fascinating video, thank you for sharing your ideas, it's so helpful.
It's what i had on hand - plus, I've heard enamel paint is better for enduring scuffs and dings.
