He’s not dissing Jay he’s saying when he was younger he stopped listening to Jay Z cause he was saying things that were blasphemous but he started listening to Jay again because he loved the movie “streets is watching” which Jay z was in. He basically realized he was being hypocritical because he loved the film which is full of violence, drugs and sex which is just as bad as blasphemy
Jay Z also executive produced the album this song is on, so definately not a diss.

This is one of his most simpler tracks btw, you shouldn't get overwhelmed by it. Only thing you need to know is the problems he is talking about and that's it, but the way he talks about them IS ON A WHOLE DIFFERENT LEVEL. This is what the highest level of music masterpiece is. This is also a fan favorite from any one that listens to his music.
