Such. a brilliant lady, a jewel. I’m moved to tears by the lines by which Sarojini Naidu lived ‘There is no birth no death but evolution to higher stages of life’. As Nehru aptly said, she started out as a poet but gave it up throwing herself in the freedom movement. But she was a poem herself.

Such a beautiful rendition. Every word here moves me to tears as Mr Sharma tells us with so much feeling and depth the story of the life of India’s nightingale, a true jewel from the East, eloquent, brilliant, our Bulbul’e Hind. So grateful for her. I love her poetry. How she electrified the whole world with her visionary words

I laud Mr. B.D. Garga Sir for being the visionary director behind so many richly textured portraits of places and people belonging to our diverse land. This one is another stellar example. Long live the spirit of Ms. Naidu.

As a proud #Indian, nothing fills my Indian heart and soul, with more joy, kilter and most of all #PatrioticPride than this speech by Indian #FreedomFighter #SarojiniNaidu.
It is indeed a matter of #NationalHonour, to know that #IndianWomen have always been since time immemorial, continue to this day and shall always remain the embodiment of #Shakti #NariShakti!
FYI: #OxfordDictionaries announced *Nari Shakti* as its #Hindi Word of the Year for 2018. Derived from #Sanskrit, '#Nari' means women' and '#Shakti' means power'. Today the term is used to symbolize women's empowerment and self determination.
    #JaiHind
Throwback To when #NightingaleOfIndia, Sarojini Naidu addressed #Americans in 1928 [yes you read that right], as a #CulturalAmbassador and a strong #Icon of #IndianWomensEmpowerment. I sincerely doubt if there was any other woman from all the #CommonwealthCountries combined, across all continents worldwide, who had possessed this level of #Courage, #Confidence & #Conviction in representing their nations. I really don't think there was, and even if there were, which is highly unlikely there'd be no documentation of their speeches like in this case.

Great women like Sarojini Naidu, Annie Besant, Kamala Devi Chattopadhyay, Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit etc. have been forgotten and people celebrate that criminal Indira Gandhi as a symbol of great womanhood.
